Amuley Mar 1 is a small exclusive holiday development finished in early 2005 and comprises of privately owned 2 and 3 bedroom Townhouses surrounding a shared swimming pool. It is only 250 yards from the sea, and only 5 minutes from the harbour, the town's bars and restaurants and the beach. Being only a short taxi journey from the airport, you can forget the car for a week or two.
Our property is furnished to a very high standard, and is fully equipped with all the usual requirements to guarantee an excellent holiday.
Ground Floor: Access to all the properties is through a locked security gate leading to the front door. This opens into the furnished lounge and which includes seating for 6 people, a wall unit, television and DVD Player. We additionally provide a number of CDs, DVDs, books and games for all ages. Fully fitted kitchen including full size electric cooker, toaster, kettle, microwave, washing machine, and fridge freezer. There is also a dining table for 6 people.
Private Terrace, with appropriate chairs and sun-loungers (and drying rack). This additionally leads to the swimming pool.
First Floor, Master bedroom (double bed) with fitted wardrobes, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets. A lockbox for valuables / passports etc is enclosed within the master bedroom wardrobe.
Second bedroom, (two single beds), fitted wardrobe and bedside cabinets. A small balcony overlooking the pool. Bathroom, fully tiled, with usual fitments including bath, shower and bidet.
Lower Ground, Third bedroom, (two single beds) wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets. Shower-room, fully tiled, with usual fitments. Garage and storeroom.
All fittings are brand new and of a high quality. Lounge and bedrooms are fitted with ceiling fans. We use a Local Management Company. We have a very close relationship with our agents (British) in Fuerteventura… who we know do everything possible to ensure our guests have a great holiday, and similarly do their best to deal with any issues which may arise from time to time.
Our agents are happy to deal with airport transfers, and additionally provide bottled water and milk for your arrival.

Local activities in and around Caleta De Fuste, Fuerteventura
Caleta is a family friendly resort with a superb crescent shaped gently sloping sandy beach, offering activities for all ages. In recent years the resort has benefited from the development of a new commercial centre on the opposite side of the bay which includes further shops, restaurants, a cinema and bowling alley. All the amenities outlined below, are within an easy walk of our house – you can forget the car for a while.
* Good choice of shops, bars and restaurants. (There is a list of recommended restaurants in our house)
* Entertainment at various bars, The Barcelo Club is strongly recommended. It is open to non residents and has quality entertainment every night of the week.
* Oceanarium (this is surprisingly good)/ usual harbour boat trips, including day out excursion on catamaran
* Big game fishing
* The excellent beach is not only safe for all visitors, it additionally offers
o Wind surfing school o Camel rides o Sand castle school o Fishing net / rod fishing o Boat / paddle boat hire o Snorkel lessons.
* Water Sports including scuba diving, (there is a first class diving centre at Caleta), offering opportunities for beginners and advanced divers.
* Weekly market, (Saturday – best go in the morning)
* Championship Golf Course. Host to the 2004 Spanish Open. You can hire all equipment.
* A second golf course is scheduled to open in October 2006
You really do not need a car – but, there are a number of car rental companies based in Caleta should you wish to explore the island. If you choose to explore - we would recommend...
* Corralejo, formerly a fishing village, now lively with plenty of shops and fantastic sand dunes, only 30 mins drive north.
* Baku Water Park -on the north side of Corralajeo, easy enough to find. Worth a day out,
* Oasis Jungle Park at La Lajita.
* Jandia, resort on South side of the Island really beautiful beach, only 40 mins drive.
