‘Chez Bardi’ is a spacious, comfortable house ideal for a relaxing holiday rental and in a perfect location for visiting the highlights of Provence.
Situated in its own gated grounds, this restored, semi-detached stone-built house is characteristically Provençal in style. The open plan living/dining area opens to a shady terrace with outdoor furniture for those essential al fresco meals and there's also a BBQ area.
The secluded, private swimming pool has a laser alarm for security and is set in the villa's large, sunny garden with lawn. There's plenty of space for sunbathing and for children to play, plus a poolside cabana with a shower and WC.
Just 2 minutes' walk is the small community of Plan d'Orgon, with a choice of restaurants in all price ranges, boulangerie, grocer, cafe/bars, and tennis court.
Plenty of secure parking in the grounds of the house.

Self-catering vacation rental accommodation on two floors. French doors open from the sitting room to the large, tiled terrace with dining setting overlooking the sunny garden and pool. An enormous, century old plane tree provides welcome shade if you would like a break from the sun.
The dining/sitting room, shaded by the terrace roof and plane tree, is a cool and comfortable area for hot summer afternoons with typically Provençal furniture, a fireplace with exposed stones, plenty of exposed beams and a stylish stone-built bar with sink.
The well equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave etc. and the separate utilities room houses the washing machine, iron, ironing board. There's a separate WC with hand wash basin on this floor.
A timber staircase leads up to the three bedrooms, each with a double bed, the bathroom (bath and overhead shower) and second separate WC, all leading off a landing. 2nd TV in one of the bedrooms. NB: All beds are double but single beds can be provided if required, also a cot for a baby.
There is a TV with English channels (BBC etc), CD/radio/cassette player and a telephone for incoming calls and local emergency numbers. Pre-paid phone cards can be used for outgoing calls.

Provence is the land of lavender and olives, sweet scented herbs, villages of stone built houses clinging to a hillside.
At the very heart of Provence lies the Bouches-du-Rhone, with a rich traditional and cultural heritage. This is where ‘CHEZ BARDI’ is located and it’s the perfect base for your holiday, with the best of the area within easy reach, including the beautiful ‘Peter Mayle country’ villages of Ménerbes, Roussillon, Gordes, charming St Rémy de Provence, Les Baux de Provence and Avignon. Just 4 kms is the typical Provencal town of Cavaillon, with shops, supermarkets, restaurants and a large weekly street market.
There are several excellent Mediterranean beaches along the coast. Lively Marseille, 1 hr, has an international airport and is a great town to explore with its picturesque port, water sports including scuba diving and snorkelling plus fishing opportunities. Boat trips can be taken to the beautiful ‘calanques’ and there are several excellent beaches along the coast.
Delightful Provencal street markets with fresh produce, enticing items made of traditional Provencal fabrics, plus special antique markets, abound in the area.
If you like to walk, cycle or ride a horse, you can do so in surrounding areas of great natural beauty and there are golf courses nearby. Wild life abounds in the Camargue . See the legendary white horses, cowboys, bulls, flamingos. Fun for adults and children alike.
There are ample opportunities for visiting vineyards for tasting and purchasing world-famous wines, most notably Chateauneuf du Pape and Cotes du Rhone.
Marseille and Nimes are the closest airports, approx 50 minutes' drive. TGV Paris to Avignon 2hrs 40 mins.
