Very happy to have children but, you must remember that the beds offered in the second bedroom are bunk beds and so it is recommended that no child under six sleeps on the upper bunk.
Local activities in and around Oxford, South
The apartment is a simply an excellent location to make the very best of a visit to Oxford. To get into the City, it is recommended that you use the local buses, which are both reliable and very regular (every few minutes) and the best way to access Oxford and its dreaming spires. Oxford is a wonderful City to visit with its array of beautiful old buildings, marvellous colleges and churches. It offers a unique blend of history and modern shopping facilities and entertainment. There is masses to do whether you are here for just a few days or a couple of weeks. Within the City itself there are numerous theatres, concert halls, museuems and cinemas as well as a large number of restaurants and pubs.
If you want a more relaxed atmosphere, the immediate area near to the apartment is most definitely the smartest residential area in Oxford. From the apartment you can walk in just a few minutes into Summertown which has a great range of supermarkets and boutique shops and also excellent bars and restaurants.
For the more sporty, there are great recreational facilities with two health clubs within walking distance both offering swimming facilities. In addition there are plenty of tennis courts and beautiful parks to visit or entertain the children.
The apartment is also located close to the local canal which provides a great way to walk either into Oxford or out into the Oxfordshire countryside.
