Tregenza has been stylishly furnished and decorated to an exceptionally high standard. We are set back from the quiet lane that meandered up from Golitha Falls and have several acres of grounds, so there's space for football, badminton or even flying a kite!
The cottage has many features; upon entering via the french doors you come into a large double aspect open plan living area. Recessed to one side is the beautiful, extensively equipped oak fitted kitchen. There is solid light oak furniture in the dining area and comfortable sofas, fresh flowers, books, games, maps, guides and original art work on the walls.
Through the lobby is the utility room (with freezer and washer/dryer, ironing board etc) and stairs up to the two double bedrooms and bathrooms.
Both bedrooms are spacious and double aspect with patios doors to large decked balconies. There are spectacular views. The main bedroom is an exceptionally sunny room with a good sized fully tiled ensuite shower room, whilst there is also a large fully tiled family bathroom.
Tregenza has its own garden, full central heating and double glazing. All electricity and fuel is included in the price. A large hot tub set in its own separate decked and fenced area just off the garden for all year round use.
Widescreen television with freeview, DVD player, video player, CD/radio/cassette player, PS2 & games, microwave, food processor and all the things you would expect to make your holiday comfortable including WIFI bradband internet access. We regret no pets allowed.
Situated in the parish of St Neot (just been voted winner of Village of the Decade) next to Golitha Falls Nature Reserve, and surrounded by beautiful Cornish countryside, South Draynes is no longer a working farm and now offers luxurious accommodation for ramblers, beach and country lovers alike. We are surrounded by rolling fields and hidden valleys, the panoramic views are quite simply breathtaking!

Local activities in and around Liskeard, South West
Only a field away is Golitha Falls Nature Reserve, originally part of this farm and now owned by English Nature, it is free for the general public to enjoy. It is a beautiful place for a quiet walk alongside the River Fowey, and is particularly stunning during the spring with all the bluebells growing under the trees in the ancient wood.
Step out from Tregenza and down our drive, turn left and then right and you will come onto Draynes common moor, in fact there are many walks from here and public footpaths.
The views from South Draynes Farm are breathtaking; meadows, rolling fields, woods, valleys, Siblyback reservoir, the Cheesewring and even the coast at Looe. In the spring and early summer primroses, bluebells, foxgloves and pink campions carpet the side of the roads in this beautiful area. At night the sky is so clear you feel like you are walking amongst the stars.
We are also close to Minions and St. Cleer which has 2 pubs, a post office and a large farm shop. We are also only a stones throw (about a mile as the crow flies) from Siblyback reservoir with its water sports centre (wind surfing, canoeing, sailing are all catered for with tuition available and rowing boats for hire). For all golfing enthusiasts St Mellion Golf Course and Lostwithiel Golf Courses are both about a 20 minutes drive away.
Carnglaze Caverns is just on the outskirts of St Neot and is truly an amazing place. There is a large underground lake and the Rum Store also hold many interesting concerts throughout the year.
We are only about eight miles from the sea at Looe and close to The Eden Project. This part of Cornwall is ideal for walkers with over 400km of public footpaths.
Dobwalls Adventure Park is about a 5 minute drive from here as is Colliford Lake Park. Liskeard town centre is between 5 and 10 minutes away, with its banks, supermarkets, shops, pubs and cafes.
