All the facilities you need are included: airconditioning/heating, satellite TV for your favourite programmes, and full kitchen facilities. Benefiting from a sunny south-facing aspect, with superb views over the Med., and situated right on the beach in a secure, gated development, the apartment is conveniently situated and is within easy walking distance of some excellent restaurants, bars & shops to suit all ages and tastes. An added bonus is that it is only a few minutes' drive from many excellent golf courses.

This first floor penthouse apartment in Calahonda, near Marbella, Costa del Sol, Spain, is situated within a small, select, securely gated community of apartments. The development boasts extensive landscaped gardens, a good sized communal swimming pool, and direct access onto the beach!
Whilst comfortably accommodating six people, the apartment is ideal for a longer let in the winter months for, say, just the two of you, with the added bonus of the extra accommodation if you want your family and friends to come and stay with you for a few days!
It boasts 3 double bedrooms (the master bedroom has great sea views and an ensuite with luxury "rainfall" shower), 2nd bathroom, and a large sunny south-facing lounge/diner with double patio doors - and a French door - leading out onto the huge terrace. The lounge is equipped with a flat-screened TV, Sky/satellite system, DVD/CD player, and a safe.
The sunny, spacious lounge has a Scandinavian sofa bed, dining table with six leather upholstered chairs, matching coffee table, and two further sofa's. Roman Blinds are fitted in the lounge and master bedroom.
The fully equipped open plan kitchen has everything you need including a fridge/freezer, oven & ceramic hob, washing machine/tumble dryer, dishwasher and microwave.
The large private landscaped terrace boasts a raised decked solarium area ideal for private sunbathing, outside dining area with superb views over the Med, and a well stocked and colourful garden/patio area - ideal in which to relax with a nice cup of tea and the daily paper. Toldos/sunshades are fitted throughout the terrace, offering shaded seating/dining areas so you can sit outside and relax whatever the weather! An automatic irrigation system has been installed. There is ample outdoor furniture.
Easy public transport links are close by for Marbella (15 minutes), Malaga (30 minutes), and beyond.
Ideally situated for golfers, with some excellent golf courses within 15 minutes' drive.

Terrestrial TV, Satellite TV, DVD, Radio, CD System, Board Games. A Sky/satellite system is installed, offering BBC1 & 2, ITV1 and Ch 4. A selection of CDs and DVDs can be found in the lounge, as can various beach & indoor games. A selection of paperbacks in Bed 2.

Communal Pool, Terrace, Garden, Parking, Balcony, Garden Furniture. The newly refurbished communal pool boasts the latest chlorine-free technology, and sits within the beautifully landscaped grounds. From the pool area, steps gently lead down directly onto the beach.

As the apartment entrance is reached via a flight of steps it is unfortunately not suitable for wheelchairs unless the user can make these steps without it. Smoking not permitted inside the apartment.
Local activities in and around Calahonda, Costa del Sol - Malaga
The Costa del Sol has been a popular holiday destination for many years, boasting over 320 days of sunshine each year. The area's mild climate makes it possible to enjoy the long stretches of sandy beaches and partake in a wide variety of outdoor activities all year round.
Close by are the world renowned resorts of Marbella and Puerto Banus, with their famous nightlife, designer shops and impressive harbours. The lovely harbour and beach at Cabopino is very close by and well worth a visit.
To the east is Fuengirola, with its new Myramar shopping mall, and Benalmadena, with its impressive marina, sea-life centre, and the Tivoli World theme park (open all year round).
Other popular local destinations include Mijas and Ronda, which are traditional white Spanish towns in the surrounding mountainside.
If you want to explore further afield, then there are plenty of great locations. For example, Gibraltar is about an hours' drive away with its tax free shopping, history and the famous Barbary apes. Worth the drive (about 1.5 hours) is the historic Alhambra Palace in the lovely town of Granada.
Some excellent skiing and snowboarding is available in the winter in the Sierra Nevada resort less than 2 hours' drive away (near Granada).
The area is also well known as the "Costa del Golf" and, for golfers, there is an abundance of courses and facilities nearby to suit all standards of golfer. Within a 5 minute drive of the apartment is Miraflores Golf Club; a fine 18-hole course with views of the mountains & the Mediterranean Sea. La Cala Golf Resort and Santana Golf are also close by. Many other superb courses are within around 15 - 20 minutes' drive away, with famous championship courses such as Valderrama within easy driving distance. Extensive sea sports & activities are also still available this time of the year locally, including water skiing and dolphin watching.

A very popular zoo - without cages, featuring a simulated rain forest housing hundreds of birds and animals. This website is currently in Spanish only.
Experience a fantastic family day out at the Tivoli World Theme Park - designed for adults as well as children, with beautiful gardens, bars, and restaurants - over 40 rides and shows to try! The largest amusement park in Spain. Located in Benalmadena, only a 25 minute drive from the holiday accommodation. Open all year round.

Changeover day is flexible all year round to enable you to take advantage of cheaper flights. Check-in: normally 3pm. Check-out: usually 10am, but where possible we are flexible. (NB: late pm/early am check-in/check-out available at an additional cost of £10 per booking).
A deposit of 25% is required on booking. Balance due 8 weeks prior to your holiday. A holding (returnable) deposit against breakages/losses of £250 per booking is required.
Included in our rates: all bedlinens & towels - including beach towels; cleaning/laundry following your stay; aircon/heating; electricity/hot water; and a generous "Welcome" grocery hamper. Cot & highchair available on request for small extra charge.
