  San Ging is an architect designed modern detached house situated in an elevated location, three quarters of a mile from Keswick Town Centre. The property has stunning views over Keswick, the nearby mountains and Bassenthwaite Lake in the distance.

The property offers a 4 bedroom retreat with very special features combined with easily maintained spacious areas allowing a family, group (or two families!) the benefits of being together with the opportunity of independent relaxation. The property is extremely well equipped to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable.

  'San Ging' means 'mountain view' & the panorama of the western fells across the town with the Northern tip of Bassenthwaite Lake in focus, makes this a very special home. Full advantage is taken of the view from the large sitting room, the en-suite master bedroom and twin bedroom, especially as the sun sinks over the horizon, making this the perfect place to be at the end of a Lakeland day.

Built into the hillside, the property was designed by a local architect & offers accomodation on several levels, making it ideal for a family or group of friends. On the lower level is the entrance to the house, a cloakroom & a double garage which contains a utlity area with washer and dryer. From there, stairs lead to a landing with large kitchen/diner. This room has French doors onto a small patio. The kitchen has the full range of built in units with all appliances, a large gas range cooker and dining table seating eight.

From this level, a short flight of stairs brings you to the main floor, home to a very large, bright sunroom area leading out to the patio (south facing) with barbecue & outdoor dining. This sunroom is the perfect area for reading or simply relaxing. Off the sunroom is a luxurious bathroom, with large shower and free standing bath, and the corridor leads to the master & twin bedrooms, both with fitted wardrobes, and the master having en-suite facilities.

From this floor, a short flight of stairs leads to the top floor which contains the a double bedroom, a room with bunk beds & the lounge which has panoramic views across Keswick.

San Ging is furnished in a stylish manner which makes the most of space yet provides the comfort that makes this a home. San Ging is situated approximately 0.75 miles from Keswick town centre. Keswick is a lively town with a cinema, leisure centre, theatre, museum, galleries, beautiful parks, a wide variety of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars.

The nearest lake, Derwentwater, is approximately 1.5 miles from the property. Keswick Launch Company runs boat trips around the lake and hires rowing and motor boats.

San Ging sits overlooking Keswick and the nearby fells. There are plenty of walks from the door. Turn left from the cul-de-sac and within 0.5 miles you can be on Walla Crag. Turn right and drop onto the old railway line which takes you to Threlkeld village
         
         
Take the first turn into Keswick. Drop down the hill until you reach the t-junction. Turn left & after approx. 300 yards turn left into the cul-de-sac & San Ging is on your right.
