It nestles in 2½ acres, which include lawns near the cottage and natural, rustic undercliff woodland at the rear. Enjoying a southern position about ¼ mile from the shoreline it offers some delightful sea views, which vary with the season and perspective.

The 1840 stone bridge over the stream provides private access to the adjoining National Trust Farmland, and for ornithologists the internationally renowned St Catherine’s Point migration and nesting area.

  The Undercliff Village, bus stop and 16th century Buddle Inn are only several hundred yards away, while the main village is about ¾ mile distant. The cottage’s superb location, close to the 1840 St. Catherine’s Lighthouse, offers many enjoyable country and coastal walks.
