Centrally Located in the Derbyshire Peak District, we are just a 3 hour drive from London, 1.5 hours from Liverpool and 5 hours from Glasgow. Well-behaved Hen and stag groups welcome.

The main feature inside is the impressive oak-beamed Cathedral-Ceiling living room, complete with 400 year old 7-ft high fireplace, rescued from an old monastery. Outside, there are 2 patios, a barbeque area, gardens, 1 acre of private paddock plus an outdoor hot-tub whirlpool spa.
There are 6 bedrooms in the main house and an additional 2 bedrooms plus kitchen diner and bathroom in an adjoining cottage (10 metres from the main house). This additional cottage is completely within our private grounds and acts like a 'gatehouse' to the rear access drive - it is ideal for guests who might prefer a little extra privacy from the main party e.g. bride & groom or senior members in the group
The house has full double glazing and underfloor heating throughout. Please note that for the comfort of all our guests with allergies, we cannot accept pets, and that we operate a no smoking policy inside the house (not even with the windows open!) However, you are welcome to smoke outside in the extensive gardens.
CHEF? We can also arrange a visiting chef to cook and serve - why go to a restaurant when the restaurant can come to you? Save money: drink your own wine at supermarket prices!
PAMPERING? We can also offer holistic, beauty and specialist treatments such as aromatherapy, massage, reflexology, reiki, facial, St Tropez tanning, nail extensions & art, waxing and yoga + many more. Our visiting specialists even bring the fluffy towels and slippers!
Local pubs 1-3 minutes walk - good food and a warm welcome!
