Villa Iannis could not be any nearer to the Beaches, Shops and Tavernas which line the waterfront at Almirida Bay.Walking up the slight hill at the eastern end of the seafront at Almirida you arrive at the end of the ‘village plan’ but the start of the Olive Groves. Down a short road in the direction of Vassillis and you arrive at Villa Iannis. So unusual in its design and surrounded by large gardens and a swimming pool, Villa Iannis is approximately a 5 minute walk from the Seafront at Almirida with its colourful Tavernas, Shops and Bars.
Villa Iannis is unique in its design – the bedrooms are on the lower floors (for coolness in the Summer) and the Living/Dining and cooking area on the top floor. The villa is quiet and secluded and makes an ideal retreat for that getaway holiday and yet it is so near to village life!
This Villa will sleep up to 8 persons. On the lower level there is a large double bedroom (complete with full en-suite facilities) in addition to which there is a pair of bunk beds for additional sleeping.
On the ground floor there is another double bedroom, fully equipped bathroom with bath and a large sized walk in shower, hand basin and WC.
On the First Floor you will find a large lounge and dining room plus a large terrace overlooking Souda Bay to the front and the White Mountains to the side. On this First Floor there is a fully fitted Kitchen with fridge/freezer and washing machine. In the Lounge/Dining area there are 2 full sized futon beds which will comfortably sleep two more persons.
The villa is fully air conditioned and heated for the winter.
Villa Iannis is approximately 5 minutes walk from the centre of Almirida and the same distance from the nearby village of Plaka. In Almirida you will find Supermarkets, Bars, Tavernas and Restaurants. In addition there are four Hotels where you can just ‘pop in’ to have a drink or use their facilities. A large, new Supermarket has opened along the road in Kalives where you will also find Butchers, Patisseries, Chemists and Garages
The Village of Plaka is 5km inland. Here too you will find Tavernas and Bars and Mini Markets - Plaka is a typical Cretan working village!

Children are most welcome in all our properties and we provide a free High Chair and Cot loan service but, we do ask that Children are supervised at all times whilst around and in the Swimming Pool.
We do ask that Reservations are made at least 2 weeks in advance to avoid disappointment. As with all our Villas, a discount is available for stays longer than two weeks.
All prices shown are for the VILLA and NOT per person. As with all our Villas on the Island, we can arrange Car Hire through reputable companies. We also offer Airport Transport service.
