Farmhouse approximately one kilometre from the village of Passais la Conception, which has two banks, bakery, supermarket, two bars, doctors, papershop, butchers petrol station and general store.We are ten kilometres from the ancient city of Domfront and three quarters of an hour from superb beaches. Mont St. Michel is one hour away. The airports of Renne and Dinard - one hour thirty minutes away.
The house is set in two and a half acres with plenty of parking space, including a stone built B.B.Q
The farmhouse is a five bedroomed property, and is able to accommodate seventeen people plus a travel cot. One bedroom on the top floor is on-suite. The first floor has three bedrooms with a bathroom on thisd floor which has a shower and bath.
Ground floor there is another toilet. A tumble dryer is in the toilet area, the front room has a wood burner and satilite television including the sports channel. On this floor is also a large fitted back kitchen tiled from floor to ceiling. A woodburner is also in this room, as well as fridge, washing machine, and dishwasher. A micro wave is also available.
In the barn across the yard there are another two fridges and a deep freeze. In the yard there is a gite which myself and my husband occupy and are on hand at all times.
We have six sheep, a small pony, wild cats in the barn and a chocolate labrador. Any animals will not present a problem. We have had the house for seven years and have lived here for five. Now the gite is almost complete we have decided to let the house, we can do a laundry service and also a catering service if required.

The first floor would suit elderly people, the second floor has a spiral staircase which would not, dogs and cats are welcome as we have pets of our own. We have chickens which are free-range.
Local activities in and around Domfront, Normandy
Market in village on Tuesdays, fetes in plenty in and around area throughout the summer, carboot sales, at least two every Sunday within twenty miles. A very large market on a Wednesday in St. Hilaire which has livestock as well, plus in the same town there is a cattle market on a Wednesday if you can get up early enough. Worth going to if only to see the workmanship in the roof alone.
Domfront is ten kilometres from us which is a medieval town which has a fete in the summer and a market every Friday. Two supermarkets similar to the U.K. are in this town the fruit and veg is superb along with fresh seafood.
We are fifteen kilometres from a massive forest which has picnic areas we are also twenty-five kilometres from Bagnoles de L Orne which has many ancient features including new features being a casino and golf coarse.
We have beaches which are very good just under an hour away and a water park which is about thirty-five kilometres away. We are twenty kilometres from the town of Flers which has a Macdonalds restaurant, bowling alley and indoor swimming baths, we are twenty kilometres from Mortain which has a waterfall and outside swimming baths.
Ring road Caen A13 Paris over bridge,along road sign on right for Alencon, take this continue on new motorway until sign for Flers take this continue due south for Domfront follow sign for Passais.
