Situated on a hillside only a short 2 minute stroll from the centre of Uzumlu village Villa Moonflower offers a peaceful and quiet location in which to unwind and enjoy the unspoilt panoramic views of the surrounding pine forests and mountains.
Villa Moonflower is a privately owned villa which boasts three large bedrooms all en-suite. The villa is fully air conditioned and has been lovingly furnished to a high standard with local handmade wooden furniture. All bedrooms have their own balconies.
In addition, the large shaded upper terrace area around the villa catches the gentle mountain breezes throughout the hot summer months making it an ideal place to enjoy dining al fresco. The private pool is surrounded by a lower terrace area, with sunbeds and parasols provided for your comfort and relaxation.
Villa Moonflower is a perfect environment to soak up the sun, relax and unwind as the sun slowly sets over the mountains.
As soon as you enter the villa you will be surprised by the homely feeling whilst appreciating the care which has been put into the villa to make it a home. Off the hallway you will find a downstairs toilet/shower room. Once you walk through the door into the open plan lounge and dining area you will be pleasantly surprised by the outstanding views.
The lounge area has TV/DVD/MP3 player and CD and plenty of seating, whilst patio doors lead from both the dining area and the lounge to the upper terrace overlooking the pool and mountains. An ideal place just to sit and relax. The fully equipped kitchen leads off from the dining area and has all mod cons providing everything you will need.
The first floor consists of a large master bedroom with a handmade wooden four poster kingsize bed, ensuite shower room and private balcony. There is also a twin bedded room also with ensuite shower room and balcony.
The second floor consists of a large, spacious family room with kingsize bed, ensuite bathroom with corner bath and overhead shower attachment.
All rooms are air conditioned and fully furnished with local hand made furniture so all you need to do is unpack!

Local activities in and around Fethiye, Turquoise Coast/Lycia
As Villa Moonflower is situated within a 2 minute walk from the village centre of Uzumlu it is within easy reach to catch a dolmus into Fethiye. Alternatively why not hire a car and explore some of the local attractions of the turquoise coast of Turkey.
Why not visit the bustling town of Fethiye which is 18kms away, stroll along the harbour front, visit the Tuesday market and shop until you drop! Or visit the indoor fish market and choose your own fish for lunch.
Why not relax on the beach at Calis, or go windsurfing at Koca Calis, or visit Olu Deniz and relax on the famous Blue Lagoon whilst you watch the paragliders land on the beach.
For the more energetic why not paraglide off Babadag mountain, go white water rafting in Dalayan, visit the aqua park in Calis. Or feel and look 10 years younger and enjoy a mud bath!
There is so much to do you will want to come back time and again, and after a hard day exploring you return to the peace and tranquilty of Uzumlu. - what more could you want? Uzumlu is an ideal base to go out and explore the many attractions of the real turkey.

Linen and towels are provided but not beach towels, please bring your own. For guests enjoying a 2 week stay you will have a bed linen and towel change.
For that special birthday, anniversary or any reason you want we can arrange for a chef to come to the villa and cook you a wonderful meal.
If you do not fancy hiring a car and driving yourselves we can arrange a mini bus or car, with your own driver, to take you where ever you want to visit, We can also arrange minibus hire/car hire for you. Also we can arrange any trips and excursions for you with return transfers from the villa (a small charge will be made for the transfers.) 24 hour helpline is provided - english spoken Pool and garden maintained daily.
