In mountain foothills our villa is on the outskirts of Bellapais, near Kyrenia, and so you will need a hire car. We offer free airport pick-up/drop-off if you hire your car through ourselves; we use a respected local company who offer a 24 hr contact.
There are stunning views from three patios and a balcony - enjoy gazing at the blue Mediterranean or the majestic mountain backdrop.
Girne (Kyrenia) town centre is 10 minutes by car, a supermarket and a petrol station are within 7 minutes; small mini-markets, bars, cafes and restaurants within 5 minutes.

This is our sixth year of letting our lovely house and we are now welcoming some guests for a second or even third visit. Please book early for weeks during school holidays - these go very quickly.
Look at the luxurious modern facilities.....the villa was furnished by one of the island’s leading Interior Designers and offers a comfortable lounge and separate dining area, each with their own balcony, tables & chairs.
Facilities include - TV/DVD and CD/Radio, with selection of films & discs, large fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, kettle and toaster.
The Master Bedroom has a king-size bed plus en-suite shower/wc and access to a large balcony. Bedroom 2 is twin bedded also with balcony access; Bedroom 3 has twin beds and glorious mountain views.
There is a mobile phone for free local calls. A complimentary Welcome Pack of food and drink is there upon your arrival.
Villa Manzara has a private 8m x 4m pool, with a large patio, including a Barbeque, sun beds and parasols. The grounds also boast several mature olive trees, and the villa is set well back from the road behind a long driveway.
By car we are 5 minutes away from the picturesque village of Bellapais, famous for the Abbey and the Tree of Idleness, where Gerald Durrell wrote his famous Bitter Lemons book.
A wide selection of beaches, both manicured and natural, are within 20 minutes of Villa Manzara. Kyrenia Harbour offers outside dining in a pretty setting looking at boats and bustling nightlife. Day trips are available - go to Tourist Information at the Harbour. Boat trips can be booked direct at one of the many Harbour Boat companies.
There is a Water Park and a Go-Kart track nearby; horse riding sessions and walking tours can be arranged.

We are in the foothills of the mountains so a car is a must in order to enjoy all the local restaurants & facilities.
This is a non-smoking villa but you are welcome to smoke on the balconies/patios.
Local activities in and around Bellapais, Northern Cyprus
East of Kyrenia are Diana, Lara and Alagadi beaches, all easily accessible by car. The Escape Beach (small charge made) in Alsancak(west of Kyrenia) is one of the safest beaches close to Kyrenia. There are many hotels with private bays which permit non-residents to use them for a small fee. Many quiet beaches are found on the Karpas Peninsula.
Sailing, water skiing, power boat, Banana and Ringo rides can be found locally at Dolphin Water sports at Diana Beach at the Catalkoy turning off the coast road, by the Coca Cola Depot on the left side of the road. Check with Tourist Information for more.
If you fancy cruising around the Med, being waited on, a fresh fish lunch, swimming from the boat, then stroll down to Kyrenia harbour and book one of 20 boats dealing in daily trips. There are also tours that depart from the port in Famagusta and sail along the Karpaz peninsula. Regular ferry services go from Kyrenia and Famagusta to towns on the southern coast to Turkey, namely Mersin, Antalya and Tasucu.
Northern Cyprus has a National Park in the Karpaz Peninsula. Find birds, wild donkeys, turtles, rare flora and little visited beaches.
Sightseeing tours: Contact the Tourist Information Office at the Harbour.
Sea turtle watching: There are a number of beaches along the northern coast where Loggerhead and Green Turtles lay their eggs in the sand between June and October. If you wish to join a group to watch them, or to actively help out in the task of helping to protect them, please visit the Tourist Information office.
Octopus Aqua Park in Catalkoy, is 4 km outside Kyrenia. Children can climb, swing, slide and bounce on watery and dry apparatus – parents can relax in the pool bar!
There are 2 karting tracks, one in the Girne area and another near Lefkosa.
‘Northern Heights’ of Kyrenia can arrange exciting Quad Biking Tours.
Must see! - Kyrenia Castle, St. Hilarion Castle, Bellapais Abbey, Roman remains at Salamis, Soli Vouni etc.
We recommend a local car hire Company which gives free transfers to/from Ercan airport with a minimum 5 days car hire. Maps, routes etc. are available in the villa. Larnaca pick-ups possible.

Rental Notes: During main letting weeks, changeover day is Saturday - this being best for most guests. During 2-week lettings there is a house clean and fresh bed linen provided at the end of the first week.
Access to the villa is any time after 4.30pm. On departure, you should vacate the villa by 9am.
Our spacious villa is fully cleaned and prepared for your arrival with fresh bed linen, bath and kitchen towels before every let. (We do not provide beach towels - please bring your own).
Welcome Pack - We supply a comprehensive welcome pack comprising local bread, butter, cheese, eggs, milk, water, orange juice, beer and wine. In season local fruit included. Please enjoy this with our compliments.
