A 2-bedroom (sleeps 6) raised-ground-floor apartment on a small and exclusive complex in a stunning sea-side location next to the Kempinski Hotel and Laguna Village on the outskirts of Estepona.
MAR AZUL is a South-facing resort comprised of only 72 super de-luxe apartments arranged in a 'V'-shape, designed in such a way that each apartment receives it's full share of the Sun, and is provided with the privacy normally only expected from a private villa.
The open end of the 'V' is purely beach & Sea !
Within the 'V' is a totally unique world of spectacular sculptured swimming pools with numerous fountains, cascading waterfalls, flowing canals, sunken deck-chairs, beautiful statues, jacuzzi beds, a giant overflowing bowl, and thatched cabanas complete with lovely comfortable armchairs and settees. All this surrounded by exuberant and colourful tropical gardens.
This super-luxurious ground floor apartment is perfectly positioned right on the edge of the central pool area, between the deep "infinity " pool at the beach end, and the feature ponds of the upper pool area from which the water flows down through lovely meandering blue-tiled canals.
The vast sliding glass doors to both the lounge and master bedroom lead onto the extensive terrace with private manicured lawned area in front, onto which the Sun shines all Morning, and until well into the afternoon. There's a dining table, 6 comfortable chairs (2 of which recline), and 2 loungers on the terrace; The perfect place for alfresco breakfasts in the morning; The perfect place to “spread yourselves out” during the day; The perfect place for a romantic candle-lit dinner in the evening ‘till late.
The large area provided by the terrace and our private lawn can be rendered 'child-friendly' by the easy erection of the provided trellises to cover the openings in the front garden wall, and a gate to guard the steps down to pool-side.
Our very young guests find the unique water features just down those steps, such as the meandering canals and underwater jacuzzi deck-chairs, a delight to play in. Shade can be provided by our thatched cabanas when required !
Once you step inside the apartment the efficient heat & cool control system combined with under-floor heating (with independent control to every room) ensures that the temperature suits you exactly at all times of the year.
A top quality hi-fi system feeds music throughout the apartment and the latest technology "mood-lighting" and "domotic electronics" throughout the apartment provide the ultimate controllable and relaxing ambience. A Sony DVD, and a 42 inch Sony plasma television complete the picture.

Price includes all electricity used. There are no meters. There are no extras. Price includes full & unlimited access to the leisure centre.
30% deposit on booking. Balance due 8 weeks before holiday. A £100.00 'damage deposit' is charged, which is FULLY refunded if the apartment is left in good order.
Payments normally by cheque, or direct bank to bank transfer. PAYPAL accepted, but with a 3% surcharge.

I was very impressed with the apartment which was exactly as it was described, it was very luxurious had good sized bedrooms and bathrooms.
The complex was also great, with a good sized pool, and views to the sea from the infinity pool. The owner Brian was very thorough and absolutely everything he describes in his comprehensive rental booklet was very helpful and true. I would definately recommend this apartment and hope to go back again next year!

Great complex. The pools are a series ofshallow to deep-perfect for little kids-the view of the Mediterranean is out of this world and the nearby town is quiet, quaint and non-touristic. This is NOT Marbella-thank goodness-this is old style Spanish village with all the things you need for a perfect week. You realize just how great this place is-quiet, chill and perfecty maintained. Perfect for families. We would love to go back- recommend completely!

Just returned from Mar Azul and what a lovely apartment and complex. The information and photos provided on the website are very accurate.
The addition of the low fencing around the apartment's garden and the stair gate at the top of the steps down to the pool area was a great comfort as we had a toddler, and it was sufficient to keep her secure & give us piece of mind.

Date submitted June 2008 We had a wonderful holiday at MAR AZUL. Stunning resort, and nearby Estepona town has lots of good restaurants and bars. The sea front has lots of activities for kids, the Port area and the old town should also be explored, and the main beach is lovely for those who like the sand!
All in all I would recommend this property to everyone.
