The town of Looe with harbour, beaches, shops, pubs and restaurants is only a mile away with the picturesque old port of Polperro about 8 miles distant. Swimming, sea, river & lake fishing, boating, watersports, riding, golf, tennis, bowls, coastal walks etc. are all readily available and superb National Trust houses and gardens are to be found nearby. Two local beaches can be reached on foot in five minutes. The Eden Project & the city of Plmouth are just aver half an hour away with the north coast - Padstow, Rock etc. reachable in about an hour.
