A beautiful detached house just north of Lachar Village, near Granada. Casa Zang is a privately owned walled property consisting of a restored old coaching inn and with a newly built private swimming pool and large patio area, situated within a poplar grove and surrounded by farmland and woodland.
The main house, originally a coaching inn, has been recently renovated and restored in rustic style, with modern facilities. It can comfortably sleep up to 8 people, ideal for 2 families sharing. The spacious property is tiled throughout, with new windows, blinds, curtains and window grills and has oil fired central heating and a wood burner in the lounge.
The property is very private, being surrounded by a high wall and it is not overlooked. The nearest neighbour is a farmhouse approx 100 metres away. Superb family holiday accomodation and ideal for 2/3 families sharing.
Casa Zang has 3 bedrooms, 2 double (1 en-suite, the second overlooks the pool) and one very large family/bedroom which can sleep up to 6 people and offers very flexible accomodation. A partition and cots are available. The main bathroom on the first floor has double Jacuzzi bath with water and air jets, separate power shower and double wash basin unit, shaver socket and power point and W.C.
On the ground floor there is a tradtional Andalucian style entrance hall. There is an additional shower room with walk in hydro massage shower and separate toilet. The large traditional fully equipped kitchen, with breakfast bar and a granito work surface, has a five burner gas hob, electric oven, microwave and fridge freezer. The utility room has a digital washing machine, drier, ironing facilities, sink and food/drink storage.
A sliding door from the hall leads to the open plan lounge. The lounge looks out onto the pool and terrace and has a leather 3-piece suite and wood burning stove. Sky TV has been installed ( with English TV channels). Thick walls ensure a pleasant inside summer temperature of 22 degrees.
The 'Annex' property - (Casa Anza) is a 'new build' It has 3 bedrooms and can sleep 5 people. Downstairs there is an open plan modern kitchen and lounge area.
The newly built pool is 0.9m - 1.8m deep and approx 30 Metres Square (irregular shape) and incorporates a small shallow area with seating.
The patio area has been retiled over the winter, and has a BBQ, wall and floodlights, 'andalucian' style benches, table and sun umbrella, sun loungers and outside toilet/wash basin/shower.
Travel cot, high chair, baby and booster seat for car, sterliser, toys for under 5's can be made available by request.

Real Fire, Central Heating, Telephone, House Linen, Towels Provided. Weekly cleaning but extra arranged where needed. Pool cleaned daily. Cot, high chair, steriliser, selection toys, reading material and tourist information.
Dining:
Seating for 8. Extendible table, chairs, dresser, two settees. tiled throughout. Dining room is separate from lounge.
Entertainment:
Satellite TV, DVD, Radio, CD System, Board Games. Granada offers concerts, clubs, discos, theatre exhibitions etc.
Owners have 4x4 vehicle available for 'off-road' excursions to various sierras- including isolated parts rarely seen by tourists.
Outside:
Private Pool, Terrace, BBQ, Parking, Garden Furniture. Well lit pool and patio/bbq area, shower, toilet. Totally private, main pool 1.4 shallow, 1.8 deep with child friendly pool .8 meters deep with seating in water, built in steps both pools.

Ideal for large families or families sharing, walkers, cyclists ( extensive olive groves, many sierras of varying topologies within an hour's drive. Car needed. Quiet location, but much nearby.
Local activities in and around Lachar, Granada/Costa Tropical
The property is a 10 minue walk from the village. Lachar is a traditional rural Spanish village with a few small supermarkets, several bars, restaurants serving main meals after 8pm,and a riding school. Within 30 mins drive there are various leisure centres/swimming pools/major shopping centres/cinema complex etc.
Approx travelling times: 10 mins Granada airport. 20 mins Granada Centre. Cubillas reservoir. 40 mins Alhambra. Antequera. Bermejales reservoir. 60 mins Iznajar reservoir. Sierra Nevada - skiing. Guadix - Caves, pottery. Costa Tropical -Nerja caves, Motril. 120 mins Cordoba, Sevilla.
Golf courses within 30 mins drive near Granada and Antequera. Various skiing activities at Sierra Nevada at approx. 1 hr.
1 kilometer north of Lachar village, just off A92 Granada to Seville/Malaga motorway (Exit 221). Cross the bridge heading towards the town of Valderrubio and Casa Zang is on first right bend.
