Consisting of three separate properties, a studio, a one bedroom two storey house, and a two-bedroom house, the 'casas' have been lovingly restored to retain many of the traditional features. Containing original wooden beams, shuttered windows, and thick stone walls to minimise the heat of summer, and keep in the warmth for winter, they have been furnished with every modern amenity to ensure a comfortable stay.
The three 'casas', share a large internal Spanish patio courtyard with covered barbeque and seating area, great for alfresco dining, either in private or with other guests. Available on a self-catering or bed and breakfast basis, the owners are on site to ensure you have all you need for an enjoyable holiday.

All the houses are fully equipped with everything you will need to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, and a home from home. The courtyard area provides a great outdoor space, sheltered during the winter months and shaded during the summer. There is an outside kitchen barbeque area, with tables and chairs, additional barbeques are available should you wish to be more private. The courtyard is fully lit allowing for alfresco dining at night and becomes a magical and romantic place with its canopy of stars.

Bathroom: Fully fitted with bath (shower attachment), basin and toilet. Separate shower cubicle. Towels provided.
Living Area: Comfortably furnished with three seat sofa bed and two seat sofa. Gas fire. Television, DVD and CD player.
Dining Area: Dining table and chairs seating 6. Dresser, with all crockery and cutlery.
Kitchen: Fully equipped with oven, hob, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge-freezer. Iron and ironing board.

Bedrooms:
1 Double Bedroom, 1 Twin Bedroom. Spacious bedrooms with built in wardrobes offering ample storage. The master bedroom is furnished with a king size bed. Both bedrooms have original features from this 200 year old house.

1 Bathroom. The bathroom contains a seperate shower cubicle as well as the bath, WC and hand basin.
Kitchen:
Cooker, Hob, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Iron. The traditionally styled kitchen is spacious and contains along with the appliances a good range of kitchen equipment, pots, pans etc.
General:
House Linen, Towels Provided. The lounge area is furnished with a 2 seater settee and 3 seater sofa-bed. A living flame gas fire provides winter warmth. TV, DVD and CD/Radio/cassette provided.
Dining:
Seating for 6. Antigue pine dining table and chairs, seating six comfortably. All crockery and cutlery is provided in a dresser.
Entertainment:
Terrestrial TV, Satellite TV, DVD, Radio, CD System, Board Games. There are a number of books to read in each of the houses, including a Spanish phrase book should you need it, and a selection of board games, jigsaws and DVD's available for your entertainment.
Outside:
Private Pool, Communal Pool, Terrace, Garden, BBQ, Parking, Garden Furniture. Set amongst the beautiful terraced gardens is the free form beach effect pool. Sunbeds are provided in different areas to allow guests privacy. Table and chairs for alfresco dining.

Local activities in and around Albox, Almeria
With only a 30 minute drive to the resorts and beaches of Mojacar, Vera with its Aquapark, and Garrucha or 40 minutes to the pretty resort of San Juan de los Torreros, getting to the beach is easy. Should you prefer a round of golf, there are four courses within 40 minutes drive. Horse riding is also available in Arboleas, and a rambling club meets regularly in Albox.
There are a variety of other interesting places to visit, the reservoirs at Negratin, north of Baza and closer to us at Cuevas del Almanzora, both good places to fish. The caves of Sorbas and Cuevas del Almanzora, Nijar for its great pottery shops. The desert at Tabernas, with both Mini and Texas Hollywood western theme parks. In winter skiing is available in the Sierra Nevadas a 2 hour drive away. Granada and the Alhambra palace can be reached within an hour and a half; the choice of things to do and see is nearly limitless.
Almeria airport is 1hour away and Murcia and Alicante airports 1hr 45 minutes, easily reached by motorway and good tarmac roads. Car hire is recommended.
Cycling...
For anyone planning serious riding, it is recommended that they bring with them, padded shorts, tops suitable to the season, a camel back or similar hydration system and sunglasses.
