Finca Listonero was formerly a small privately owned boutique hotel and acclaimed restaurant.
It has now been transformed into a unique and very spacious detached villa set in private and secluded grounds, complete with an exceptional swimming pool and outdoor lounge area.
The villa is reached via a private road with a huge private driveway, complete with covered parking for up to four cars.
The villa is entered through a grand main entrance that leads into a character-packed hallway. Leading off the hall are the four bedrooms, with two bedrooms on each side.
Each bedroom can be set up as a super-king or a twin room (please state your preference on booking). Each bedroom has a boutique feel with individual schemes and a full en suite bathroom including a bath with shower above.
The two bedrooms on the left of the house have a patio door leading out on to a terrace with beautiful mountain views. The bedrooms on the right also have patio doors with access out on to a different terrace with access down to the pool. All the bedrooms are fully air-conditioned.
At the end of the hallway you enter the enormous main lounge with seating to your right and left, ideal for relaxing with a book or newspaper. Leading from the main lounge there is an outdoor seating area with plenty of comfy seats and tables to enjoy an Al fresco meal or a glass of wine. This then leads down to the pool area.
Continue through the main lounge and you enter a separate dining room. Leading from the dining area is an additional TV room with English TV and DVD player.
The kitchen was previously set up as a fully operational restaurant kitchen, so there is more than enough space to cater for the whole family with every appliance you could possibly need.
There is also a fully working utility room with washing machines and sinks etc.
The stunning pool area was designed with the hotel in mind and therefore the pool is very large with plenty of terracing, both open and covered, and is surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers.
The pool area also has its own specially built fully working kitchen and BBQ. There is also a shower room and WC. This area really is perfect for poolside entertaining.
For those wanting a winter get-away, this villa is ideal as it is has central heating.

Local activities in and around Mojacar, Almeria
There is a water park 15 minutes drive away. A choice of 5 golf courses within 25 minutes drive. There is a zoo 25 minutes away. Also there a 2 western cowboys sets from the spaghetti westerns to visit.
The region of Almeria is one of the most charming and unspoilt areas in south-eastern Spain. Enjoying the sunniest and warmest climate in the whole of Europe, it is known as ‘El Rincon del Embrujo’ or ‘the corner of enchantment’. This is the real Spain!
Mojacar village is an idyllic mix of sugar-cubed whitewashed buildings, cobbled winding streets and beautiful Moorish architecture. The main square looks across to the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada mountains and is filled with street cafes, bars, boutiques and shops. Take a stroll through the maze of cobbled streets hidden behind the main square and you will find some wonderful restaurants and bars.
The area has many archaeological sites revealing Phoenician, Roman and Carthaginian histories. Visits to the local markets are very popular: Mojacar on Wednesdays, Garrucha on Fridays and Vera on Saturdays.
Garrucha is the nearest town, about three miles away. It is a little fishing port with interesting fish and street markets.
Granada is one of Spain’s most interesting and beautiful ancient cities. After a pleasant drive through the mountains, visit - on foot - the 14C Alhambra, the citadel of the Caliphs of Granada, perched on a hill overlooking the city, and the nearby Generalife gardens. Then on to the cathedral where, in the Capilla Real (royal chapel), the Catholic monarchs Ferdinand II of Aragon and Isabella of Castille are buried, and the Silk Bazaar.
