A quiet, romantic, peaceful setting, sharing 4 acres with the owners 500 yr old thatched farmouse. Situated along a delightful country lane, yet easily accessible being only one mile from the A30.
Relax in luxurious, tasteful surroundings. The renovated cottage is superbly equiped and furnished, including a four poster bed and rolled top spa bath in the master bedroom. The cottage and your private patio overlooks the orchard and open fields. Share and roam within our 4 acres with local deer and wildlife (bring your wellies!). Feed our friendly geese and chickens. Secluded seating with fire pit and oil lights. Charcoal and marshmallows provided!! A wonderful place to escape and unwind.
Dine in the stylish kitchen or al fresco on your private patio. The low level of light polution makes star gazing a treat! Enjoy a DVD movie on the 32" LCD TV, watching from the leather, corner suite. Practically equiped with central heating, double glazing and oak floors. An inset pebble gas fire and mood lighting help create a truly relaxing atmosphere. In addition to a wide choice of DVDs to watch, we also provide a Wii console with sports game for the kids (especially the big ones!) A boomtube (portable sound system) is provided for your MP3 or ipod, use it by the bath!!! FREE WIFI NOW AVAILABLE IN THE COTTAGE.

Local activities in and around Honiton, South West
3 miles outside the market town of Honiton, famous for its lace and antiques. Many local festivals throughout the year. Only 20-30 minutes drive to the coastal towns of Sidmouth, Exmouth, Seaton, Beer and Branscombe. A walker's paradise, with beautiful walks on your doorstep here in the Blackdown Hills. The South West Coastal footpath, the East Devon Way, Exmoor and Dartmoor are all within easy reach.
Golf, riding, fishing and swimming are all within 3 miles. Water sports, cycling, birdwatching, fossil hunting and numerous National Trust attractions are close by.
Easily accessible being only one mile from the A30/A303, 3 miles to the NE of Honiton. M5 Junction 29 is only 20 mins and M5 Junction 25 is only 30 mins away. Why drive for hours further west?

Rental Notes: Prices are for one week. We welcome long weekends and mid week breaks, ring or email for prices. We specialise in tailored packages for romantic breaks and special occasions. We are totally flexible on start dates and duration, its your holiday after all!! The cottage will be fully prepared for your arrival, with beds made up and a generous welcome hamper provided, including wine and chocolates. We can arrange for the extra shopping of groceries, local meats, game and produce to be purchased in advance if required. Maid service is weekly however can be more frequent by arrangement. check in time is 4pm and check out is 11 a.m.
