Seapines is a bright, modern home on the upper edge of Argaka Village, just 5 mins drive (2k) from the beach and 5 mins walk to the pine clad hills of the Chrysochous forest. Situated on a small development of houses and appartments, there is a communal pool for the use of residents/guests and private parking.
Seapines benefits from a large terrace with stunning, uninterupted views to the Polis Chrysochous Bay and the Akamas Peninsula beyond. When the evening comes, you can sit and watch beautiful sunsets, with the scent of pine needles filling the air.

To the front of the property is a private parking space and the property is entered through a covered porch, into the large, open plan living area. The kitchen has a full sized, electric, fan assisted oven & grill, an electric hob with four hot plates and an extractor fan. There is an electric kettle, microwave, toaster, filter coffee maker and washing machine. There are plenty of plates, dishes and pans and, a rare thing on Cyprus - a teapot! Seapines also benefits from a very large fridge freezer, which is essential during the long hot summer months.
The dining area has a good sized pine table with 6 chairs, and is pleasantly furnished with a pine dresser and book case. The lounge area has a comfortable 3 seater sofa and 2 armchairs. There is a TV with limited satelite channels, a DVD player and a CD/radio/cassette player. There are 3 large patio doors (with fitted fly screens) which open out onto the terrace, giving the whole room a light and airy feel.
Marble stairs take you to the first floor, which has 2 good sized, double bedrooms. Each has two single beds, built in wardrobes, shelves, drawers and bedside tables with lamps. The rear bedroom also has a balcony, equipped with a small table and two chairs. From here you have beautiful views over the village to the bay and up to the hills and pine forests to the rear of the property.
The fully tiled bathroom has a toilet, basin and full sized bath with shower over. Seapines benefits from full air conditioning, with units in the lounge and each bedroom.
Outside, the terrace extends to the southwest and north of the property. There is a large table and chairs with parasol, sun loungers and a charcoal BBQ.

Local activities in and around Polis, Southern Cyprus
The area around Argaka is ideal for those who want to get away from it all. The shingle/sand beaches stretch for miles in each direction and you will always find a private spot. Walkers can choose from easy strolls or more challenging hikes. The Akamas Peninsula is worthy of particular note. Starting at the Baths of Aphrodite, there is a protected area of unspoilt hills and valleys, with several nature trails.
On the south side of the peninsula is Lara Beach, where the rare green turtles have a protected breeding area. Directly behind Seapines, are the hills leading to the Stavros Tis Psokas nature reserve. Continuing along the coast road from Argaka, you will find several unspoilt villages, each with small tavernas or bars and all set against the beautiful hills on one side and the bay on the other.
Practicalities: Argaka has 2 mini markets, the nearest is less than 1 kilometer away. There are 2 bars/restaurants within walking distance (15 - 20 mins) and a further two within 5 mins drive.
Polis (10 mins by car) has a much wider selection of facilities. There are several shops, supermarkets, banks, an excellent internet cafe and a hospital. The bustling old town has a charming square, surrounded by numerous cafes, bars and restaurants.
A further 5 kilometers beyond Polis is Latchi, with it's delightful harbour, fringed by taverns, bars and restaurants. The large town of Paphos is 45 mins by car, with the airport a further 15 mins.
From Paphos airport, take motorway to Paphos, then follow signs for Polis. At Polis, turn right to Argaka. At Argaka, turn right at the Kiosk. Continue up the hill to Aristo Argaka Village 2.

Rental Notes: Changeover day is flexible and by arrangement. Seapines is available from 4.00pm on the day of arrival. Guests are asked to vacate the property by 10.am on the day of departure.
