A truly delightful converted sail loft in an idyllic location overlooking St Monans Harbour with sea views and lots of character. The interior is spacious, bright and airy, with good quality furnishings. Mid Shore forms part of the Fife Coastal Path, which offers coastal walks from Kirkcaldy through to St Andrews (just 9.5 miles away). It is ideally located for both familes and golfers alike.
Entry to the house is via a wrought iron external staircase. To the side is a small area of garden with area for barbecues and an area for drying clothes. Garden furniture is available. There is car parking for two cars.
Sitting Room - Views across the Forth, very unusual feature fireplace with working open fire, comfy sofas, colour tv., video, dvd etc. Dining Room - Nice sized dining room table easily seating 6, sea view, cast iron ornamental fireplace. Kitchen - Modern units and well equipped with gas hob, electric oven, washing machine, microwave oven, fridge/freezer - 'porthole' through to sitting room. Bathroom - Quality fittings with bath, shower over bath, wc and wash basin. Master Bedroom - an impressive room with king sized bed, sea view, feature ornamental fireplace, dressing area and ample space for a cot if required. Local activities in and around St Monans, Central Scotland
St. Monans: Once a prosperous fishing village it is now very popular with tourists. Its architecture is dominated by pantiled roofs, brightly coloured cottages and outside staircases. A 750 year old church watches over the village and the windmill of St. Monans, dating back to1780, is about a 10 minute walk along the coastal path towards Pittenweem. There is an excellent seafood restaurant at the west end of the harbour, overlooking the sea.
