The gite forms the west wing of a large famhouse and has it's own seperate entrance. The downstairs consists of a lounge area with comfortable furniture a dining area and corner kitchen in all 32 square meters. The lounge has two settees and small table a satellite television and a wood burning stove for those winter stays. The dining area has a table and four chairs and views out over the lawns. Outside the main entrance is a south facing private patio with garden furniture.
Upstairs there is a large bedroom with a french double sleighbed and matching furniture. The shower room has a toilet and wash hand basin and electric towel rail. The landing area is equipped with a comfortable chair and there are views out over the fields through the glass panelled door. There is also room for a third bed there should you require it.

Local activities in and around La Haye Du Puits, Normandy
In the Cotentin Peninsular there is much to see and do, it is a very unexplored part of France. Cherbourg has a lot to offer with many Hypermarches and an interesting Old Part of the town by the port. There is also La Cite de La Mer with it's enormous aquarium and tours around a nuclear submarine. Coutance 25 mins.away has a beautiful Gothic Cathedral built in the 13th Century, lovely public gardens, and varied restaurants and bistros. Villedieu 45 mins. away has many shops filled with copper items and one of the few remaining Bell Foundries left in Europe. The beautiful port of Granville 45 mins. here you can find an interesting old quarter with restaurants and views of the sea and harbour. On the edge of the town is Christian Dior's house and garden,the museum contains many of his clothing designs. Barneville Carteret 20 mins has many seafood restaurants and beautiful beaches and a view of Jersey. Diellette on the western edge has daily trips to Guernsey in the summer and is the smallest working port in France. Barfleur, listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France is 40 mins away. Anyone interested in the Second World War can visit all the landing beaches of Utah down to Arromanche and also see the Mulberry harbours still in existence, there is the American museum on Utah beach itself.
The whole peninsular is criss crossed with old railway tracks made into cycleways passing through many of the little villages. The marshes are home to a host of interesting birds. There is also fishing, golf, horse riding and sand yachting closeby. Only an hour away is the picturesque Le Mont St Michel and 45 mins. the other way the old town of Bayeux containing the famous tapestry, a memorial to General De Gaulle and a museum on the battle of Normandy.
