Welcome to Villa Amarella, a beautiful mature Portuguese villa, upgraded and totally refurbished. It has 4 bedrooms, all with aircon, 3 bathrooms, a 4th toilet and comfortably sleeps 8-12 people. Highchair and cot provided free of charge. Excellent modern kitchen with large breakfast room off. There is a separate dining area and large 70 sq m lounge with satellite TV, DVD, music and doors to pool, terrace, BBQ and garden.
It has a huge pool terrace with its own very private 12m x 6m heated pool.
Parking for 1-2 cars. Garden has planting to front and sides and large play area at the rear including boules and sand areas. Something for everyone!
Set in a semi-rural (but not isolated) location, on the outskirts of Almancil, at Vale Formosa, 5-10 min drive to fantastic beaches, horeseriding and wonderful golf courses of Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo.

Villa Amarella is quite beautiful. You will not be disappointed. A mature villa with large rooms, high ceilings and mahogany floors throughout. It has been totally refurbished in modern style. It is surrounded by a large private garden and has lovely unspoilt views to the rear.
The 12m x 6m private pool is heated mid March to end October each year - free of charge- and is surrounded by an extensive terrace, overlooking the garden, which is fully equipped with parasols, table, chairs, loungers. To the side is a large BBQ with additional seating for 6 + people, a place to sit and chat as the food is cooking!!
All 4 bedrooms have airconditioning for which there is an extra obligatory charge of £75/wk
There is a small local bar/restaurant within 5 mins walk of the villa with further bars, shops and restaurants within 15 mins walk. Ideal location for golf with major courses at Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo only 3.5 km away. Only 6 mins drive to beach, 15 mins to Quarteira and Vilamoura. Within 10-20 mins drive are numerous attractions including go karting, water sports, horseriding, Marine World etc.
This is an ideal location to enjoy both family and golfing holidays.

Services of local manager who will meet you at the villa soon after arrival, show you around the villa and remain on call throughout your holiday. From the drive to villa there are 2 steps. However we believe the whole of the groundfloor and pool area to be wheelchair friendly.
Local activities in and around Almancil, Central Algarve
Travel: Villa Amarella is approx 20-25 mins drive from Faro airport. A car we believe is necessary to enjoy the local area and access the many local attractions, golf courses and beaches. We are very happy to recommend car rental companies to you.
Distances: Local shops, bars, supermarkets, bank and restaurants are only a 15 minute walk away from the villa. There is a small bar/restaurant only 4-5 minutes away. Within 1 mile (a 3 min drive) you can access a huge range of shops and restaurants.
Further details: Closeby are a number of major attractions including water parks, fishing, boat trips, go-karting, water sports, horse riding, tennis, golf. Also Zoo Marine where it is possible to swim with the dolphins. Much more info available in the Welcome Book on arrival.

Rental Notes: Prices are for up to 8 people. For groups of more than 8 and up to 12 please add an extra £100/wk to prices published - except for last 2 weeks July, all of August when 'extra' cost for up to 4 people is £200/wk. If only 1 or 2 extra we are happy to negotiate on the price!!
Pool heated free of charge mid March to end October each year. Available other times but not heated.
Preferred start/end dates July and August will be Saturday but do look at the calendar - we can be very flexible if there is availability.
There is an obligatory charge of £75/wk for aircon to all bedrooms. November to end March we can also supply logs for the fire in the lounge.
25% deposit is required to secure the booking with the final balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival. A breakage deposit of £200 is also required 8 weeks before the holiday which will be returned within 14 days subject to the local manager advising there have been no losses or breakages.
