Riverside location in 25 acres of private grounds of a watermill with 4km of river and just south of the city of Tours, ideally situated for exploring the many chateaux of the Loire Valley, or if you prefer take one of many wine tasting trails through Touraine.
Alternatively, relax by the river and try some fishing for the many species that inhabit the Indre, or just sit and watch the abundance of wildlife including kingfisher, bee-eaters, heron and the beaver like coypu.
The apartment consists of a large lounge/diner with TV/DVD, dining table and 6 chairs and an additional double sofa bed. Situated off the above room is a double bedroom, a twin bedroom with en-suite (which can also accommodate bunk beds and single bed for 3 children), a separate bathroom with shower over and a large fully fitted kitchen, including, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave. Full gas central heating.
The apartment has its own garden, outdoor furniture, sun loungers and barbecue. There is a shared swimming pool, erected in the summer months, 1.2m deep and 7m in diameter. There is also the possibility of sharing the use of the owners bicycles, canoes and small boat (subject to availability and competence). There are two beautiful private golf courses within easy driving distance, available to non members.
Nearest towns are Montbazon and Monts both 2km where all amenities can be found (market days being Tuesday and Saturday respectively). The city of Tours is 15 mins drive (famous flower market, Wednesdays and Saturdays). There are numerous Chateaux within easy reach and Montbazon has one of the oldest keeps in France.
The region is excellent for cycling and canoeing.

1 Double Bedroom, 1 Twin Bedroom. The twin bedroom is en-suite and can be arranged into bunks beds and a single to cater for 3 children. There is also a good quality double sofa bed in the lounge area.

1 Bathroom, 1 Shower. Bathroom has shower over and the shower room is en-suite to the twin bedroom. Both are newly fitted
Kitchen:
Cooker, Hob, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Iron. Large recently installed fully fitted kitchen. Many other cooking appliances including kettle and toaster.
General:
Central Heating, House Linen. Towels provided on request.
Dining:
Seating for 6.
Entertainment:
Terrestrial TV, DVD. There is also the possibility of sharing the use of the owners bicycles, canoes and small boat (subject to availability and competence).
Outside:
Communal Pool, Garden, BBQ, Parking, Garden Furniture. The shared swimming pool, erected in the summer months is 1.2m deep and 7m in diameter.
Suitability:
Not Suitable For Wheelchairs.
Smoking is not permitted in the apartment. We do not have any special facilities for disabled persons. As there are 4km of open river bank, this location may be unsuitable for small children.

Also, discover the many wines in this region. Azay-le-Rideau, Chinon, Bourgueil and Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil. Most vineyards are happy to give free tastings and perhaps the most famous being the Vouvray wine which is only 20mins by Car.
