Tanglewood is a two bedroomed, modern bungalow, well-equipped for all your holiday needs. It sleeps up to 4 people in one double and one twin room. Situated in a small wooded valley at the foot of Bodmin Moor, this is an ideal place to 'relax and get away from it all'. You are surrounded by typical Cornish countryside. It is within easy reach of many attractions though, including Dobwalls Theme Park, Looe, Polperro, Plymouth and even the world famous Eden Project. Garden lovers are spoilt for choice with the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Cothele, Lanhydroc and Boconoc to name but a few in the area.
Pub and restaurant very nearby and many eating places in the area.

‘Tanglewood’ offers you comfortable accommodation for up to four people, with one double and one twin bedroom. It has a well furnished lounge/diner, a very well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom, with shower. An allocated car parking space is immediately outside the back/side door and a small lawned garden surrounds the property. The narrow River Seaton forms the rear boundary. The garden also includes a patio, with furniture and barbeque, ideal for sunny afternoons and evenings.
Entry through the back/side door leads directly into the kitchen which includes a microwave, four-ring hob and oven, toaster and kettle. This, in turn, leads to the comfortable lounge/dining room. The lounge has two chairs and a two-seater sofa, along with a CD player, T.V. with 'Freeview' channels, DVD and video. There are plenty of children's games to keep youngsters occupied. The dining area has a round table, comfortably seating four people.
The main bedroom, with views over narrow river at the rear of the property, includes a double bed and plenty of wardrobe space. The second bedroom, at the front of the bungalow, has two single beds and again, ample wardrobe space. Duvets and bed linen are provided for each bed.
The bathroom includes the toilet, wash basin, bath and a separate walk-in shower.
There are radiators in each room and a night-storage heater in the lounge/dining room. Electricity is paid for through a £1 slot meter in the kitchen. There is no gas on site. The bungalow is well insulated and has double-glazing.

Local activities in and around Liskeard, South West
The site itself is very quiet and relaxing although there is a pub/restaurant on site. Dobwalls Theme Park is about a 5 minute drive away. Sibleyback Lake is not much further and other very local attractions include Carnglaze Caverns, Golitha Falls and Trago Mills. Looe and Polperro are the closest coastal villages, about 9-10 miles away. Plymouth is an easy drive along the main A38 from Liskeard, the nearest town to the bungalow. Even the northern coast, including Rock and Padstow can be reached within 40 minutes off-season.
For the golfers, the famous St.Mellion Course is about 20 minutes away and other local courses include Launceston, Lanhydrock, Lostwithiel, Looe and St. Austell.
The property is located at the foot of Caradon Hill on Bodmin Moor, giving walkers plenty local routes to discover. For heritage, many of our visitors travel to the Lost Gardens of Heligan and Cotehele. Even the western side of Dartmoor and the town of Tavistock are within an hour by car. So, Tanglewood truly is 'Away from it all, yet close to everything'.
Trethorne Leisure Farm
A fantastic day out with the children. Plenty of animals and plenty of activities to keep them all busy. There's even a golf course as well.
Another great day out for the children (and adults). Within 5 minutes drive. Option to purchase reduced price return entry for SEVEN days. Close enough to keep popping back to fill the odd hour here and there.
M5 to Exeter. A38 through Plymouth, over Tamar Bridge to Liskeard. Follow signs to Launceston. Rosecraddoc Lodge is on the left, about a mile out of Liskeard, on the Launceston road.

Rental Notes: We normally let on a Saturday - Saturday basis, although shorter periods are possible to arrange. Visitors are asked to arraive after 3.00p.m. on the day of arrival and to vacate by 10.30a.m. on departure day to allow for cleaning and change of bedding etc.
