Deer and other wildlife are frequently seen crossing the moor in front of the cottage. There is a garden with a small stream running through. The cottage is 10 minutes drive from Oban and there are shops and good quality restaurants nearby. There is a fantastically long beach a few minutes drive away. There is excellent cycling, walking, birdwatching and fishing. The sealife centre is a few minutes drive away.

On A82 towards Oban turn left at Connel. Cross over the Connel bridge, at speed camera sign turn right 100 yds further on into South Ledaig Farm.
