An attractive stone built property with vines growing around the door. Set in two acres of land upon which stands a large private pool with shower and under pool lighting. The cottage has beamed ceilings, a balcony for dining on and a marble terrace for sunbeds. The cottage is on the edge of the small,pretty village of Laujuzan which is surrounded by vineyards, sunflower fields and woodland. This is old Gascony and is famous for its Armagnac and foie gras.
The property has two double bedded bedrooms furnished with local antique furniture. The floors are polished wood with beamed ceilings. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom, one with a shower and another with a bath. There is a separate lavatory as well. The dining room is furnished in the Rennie Mackintosh style and has a wood-burning stove. The ceiling is beamed. This room leads into the kitchen which is fully equiped with a door that leads onto a balcony. The balcony is suitable and equipped for dining. Steps lead domn from this into the grounds. The sitting room has two double sofas, a beamed ceiling and polished wooden floor with rugs.

The sitting room and one bedroom are raised up two steps from the rest of the house thus may be difficult for access by wheel-chair. The cottage is suitable for a relaxing get away from it all holiday
Local activities in and around Laujuzan, Midi-Pyrenees
There are many attractive walks in the surrounding area. Throughout the summer each village in the area has its own fete. Activities at the fete include boules, bull jumping, side shows, market stalls and comunal meals as well as music and dancing into the evening. There is Roman treasure in the ancient town of nearby Eause. Many Bastides are to be found in the area. There is a wild boar and deer farm to visit. The village of Lupiac is close by home to the fictious 3 Muskateers. Nogaro the nearest town has shops and supermarkets as well as a market,bars and restaurants. Nogaro is 9 Kms from the cottage. There is a formula 2 race track here. Other towns to visit include Aire sur L'Adour, Condom and Eause. Visit the Armagnac distilleries. The beach is one and a half hours drive (Cap Breton) This coast is known for wind-surfing. The Pyrenees is about one and a half hours drive away.
