Dine "al fresco" on our fantastic roof terrace enjoying a glass or two of the local vino while watching the twinkling lights of Tangier! Our house is equipped with everything you need to make your holiday enjoyable and is located in a quiet area yet close to all amenities in historic Vejer. It is located on the highest point of the La Noria development affording the best views! Equipped to an exceptionally high standard, including full size dishwasher and tastefully furnished with high quality fittings. Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and historic area. 10 mins drive to local beaches. Parking outside of house which is unusual in Vejer! Two patios and large roof terrace giving fantastic views east to the mountains and south to Morocco. Roof terrace has sun beds - ideal for relaxing after a hard day on the beach! Underground car parking.
Our house is situated on a small new development and has been designed and built to stay cool in summer and warm in winter. It has an open plan lounge/dining room which has two ceiling fans. It contains two sofas, a large dining table and 6 chairs, a Hi-Fi system as well as a flat screen TV, DVD (we have a DVD library) and UK satellite. Wireless internet access available. Board games and books.
The kitchen is beautifully fitted with granite worktops, dishwasher, oven, job, extractor fan, microwave and granite worktops. There is also a table and chairs. There is a downstairs shower room with a large electric radiator with built-in fan heater for the cooler months.
Upstairs there are three spacious double bedrooms. Two have king sized double beds and the third has two single beds. There are large wardrobes in the 1st and 2nd bedrooms. Each of the bedrooms has a ceiling fan and the two main bedrooms have balconies. The larger balcony off the 2nd bedroom has a table and 2 chairs - perfect for breakfast overlooking the rooftops of the houses of the town. There is a bathroom with 4 piece suite and this also has an electric radiator with fan heater.
There is a large very private back patio with table and 6 chairs. There is a child's paddling pool available. The front patio has lovely views to the fields at the bottom of the hill and also has a large table and seating for 6-9 people.
There are chairs, a parasol and body boards available to take to the beach.
Babysitting by mature English lady can be arranged.

The house itself is OK but is at the top of a hill so could be a bit of a struggle for anyone who has difficulty walking.
Local activities in and around Vejer De La Frontera, Costa de la Luz - Cadiz
Vejer is a beautiful town and you can walk everywhere from the house. There is a wide range of bars and restaurants most of which are 5-15 minutes from the house. There is a supermarket about 5-10 minutes walk from the house and many other shops in the same area as well as many artesan shops in the old town.
There are several beaches within a 10-15 minute drive - the nearest El Palmar has no large hotels, only a few small restaurants and bars and easy parking on the road that runs alongside the beach for about 5 kilometres. The sand is fantastic and sunsets fabulous. El Palmar has several surf schools and is well known for surfing and body boarding.
There is a golf/equestrian centre about 10 minutes away by car that has a large swimming pool where you can spend the entire day if you wish - they will even bring you lunch by the pool!
There are opportunities for guided walks, cycling, horseriding on the beach, fishing, boating, windsurfing and much much more!
Cadiz and Jerez are about 40-45 minutes away and well worth a visit. There is a large shopping mall also about 35-40 minutes drive away with several restaurants and open from 10.00am-10.00pm 6 days a week.
Tarifa is about 30 minutes by car and from here you can do whale/dolphin watching or go to Tangier on the ferry. The trip takes 35 minutes and you can either do this as a guided tour or independently, spending the day wandering round the old town and souk. Inland it takes about 45 minutes to reach the mountains. A little further and you are in the Grazelema National Park which is beautiful and very quiet even in the height of summer!
