Enjoying a steamside position, Inny Glade is a detached, contemporary cottage style bungalow with three bedrooms. in quiet peaceful grounds. This is a relaxing base to explore Cornwall and Devon, or go to the beach, for surf, sand and spectacular scenery.
The bungalow has an open plan lounge and kitchen with dining for up to 6 people. There are two comfortable sofas, oak unit with DVDs, books, local information and an oak coffee table to give a cottage feel. A LCD TV (with freeview), sits side by side with the DVD player. From the kitchen, the private patio is perfect for outdoor breakfasts, and equally suited for relaxed evening meals, enjoyed with a glass of wine, listening to the River Inny flowing past and fields beyond. Local activities in and around Camelford, South West
Cornwall's big attraction - The Eden Project -less than a hour's drive. Inny Glade offers the perfect 'get away from it all' base from which to explore the County. The local coastline is particulary beautiful with Newquay, Padstow, Rock, Polzeath, Port Isaac, Tintagel, Boscastle, Crackington Haven, Widemouth Bay and Bude all within easy reach. Inny Glade benefits from the vast Bodmin Moor on its doorstep. A wide open moorland with numerous rocky peaks or 'Tors', perfect for walking or riding.
The Moor's nearby Crowdy Reservoir is popular for its trout fishing. Other activities catered for locally include, Horse Riding Stables with indoor and outdoor arenas, numerous Golf Courses with leisure facilities, Adventure Parks for children, local Vineyard at Camel Valley etc. For the more adventurous try microlight flying at the Moorland Flying Club, just a mile or so away at Davidstow Airfield, a disused wartime airfield, with it's own museum. Well worth a visit. For the children see the ponies, sheep, lambs in the spring. Wide open spaces for kite flying. For the keen cyclists, the National Cycle Route also crosses the Airfield, on its way through North Cornwall.
So much more to see. Newquay Zoo and Blue Reef Aquarium(Newquay), Cycle the Camel Trail from Padstow to Bodmin. Bike hire available. Prideaux Place-Elizabethan House (Nr.Padstow), Pencarrow-Georgian House (Nr Wadebridge), Longcross Victorian Gardens (Nr Port Isaac), Cornish Birds of Prey Park(Nr Wadebridge). Royal Cornwall Show Ground at Wadebridge(home for the Royal Cornwall show every year early June). Nearest town-Camelford(4 miles). Shop locally for all your needs. Small supermarkets, butchers, green grocers, restaurants, cafe, pubs,freshly made sandwiches and pasties. In the evening a choice of takeaways. Sports centre with pool. Riverside walks and picnic area.
Inny Vale is aproached from the A395, either from the A30, or the A39. When you reach Davidstow Church, turn into the road opposite and continue for 1/4 mile. Inny Vale can be found on your left.
