This bright, sunny 3 bedroomed apartment with a nice sheltered balcony is in Los Boliches, the quieter part of Fuengirola. It is on the 3rd floor (accessible by lift) of a small residential block, secured by an entryphone system and furnished to provide a home from home. It is ideal for both summer and winter holidays for couples or families of all ages.
An English lady, who lives in the block, looks after the apartment, will get basic shopping in advance and is usually on hand to ensure a trouble free holiday.
The spacious lounge is furnished with 2 comfortable 3 seater sofas, a large dining table, sideboard etc. The cable TV has 40 channels to include BBC,ITV and Sky. Also a video recorder, plenty of books to meet most tastes and various board games are supplied for entertainment. There is a calor gas heater and electric fan. Off the lounge is a sheltered balcony which enjoys the sun most of the day. Even in January it can be warm enough to sit there over a leisurely lunch and a glass of wine.
The brand new kitchen has a long range of fitted units and granite worktops. It is fully aquipped with a 4 ring ceramic hob, electric oven, large fridge/freezer, microwave,dishwasher,washingmachine,kettle ,toaster and iron.There are plenty of pots, pans, china, glasses, teatowels etc.
The apartment is in a quiet cul de sac about 6 minutes walk from the wide, sandy blue flag beach. Around the corner is a large supermarket and numerous shops, bars and restaurants are in the vicinity. The centre of Fuengirola is a pleasant 20min stroll along the promenade, or a short bus ride.
Amongst its attractions are the marina, lively markets, castle, aquapark, nightclubs and an English theatre. From Los Boliches station there are half-hourly trains along the coast to Benalmadena (Tivoli World), Torremolinos, and Malaga Airport and City. Excursions to Gibraltar, Ronda and Granada are available. A car is not necessary. There is street parking

There is a gradual rise from the beach except for a short stretch of around 20 yards which is fairly steep and might cause a problem to anyone with a bad heart condition.

For the sportsman there is cycling, diving, fishing, golf, horse riding, mountain biking, paragliding, roller blading, sailing, surfing, swimming, tennis, walking, water skiing, wind-surfing
Families will enjoy visits to Tivoli and Sea Worlds, the cable car up the mountain and the numerous excursionas well as all the fun of the beach.
There are concerts and fiestas where the locals still wear flamenco costumes. Malaga, with its Alcazaba,Gibralfaro, Cathedral, museums and Picasso's birthplace is easily accessable.
