Visit the award winning Gunwharf Quays complex with cinema, outlet shops, bowlplex, casino and waterfront restaurants. Not to be missed is the unique Spinnaker Tower with views from its 170 metre high glass viewing platform.
Other attractions nearby in Southsea include indoor water park complex, Southsea Pier, Southsea Castle, Blue Reef Aquarium, various museums including the D-Day museum.
Short walk to the historic dockyard with Nelson's Victory, HMS Warrior and the Mary Rose.
Take a trip to the Isle of Wight on Europes only passenger hovercraft, which is just acroos the common from the front door of the apartment (Isle of Wight Music Festival each June).
There are plenty of places of interest in the local area - New Forest National Park, Goodwood Racecourse (Festival of Speed and Classic Car events each year), Beaulieu, the home of Lord Mountbatten with its world famous Car Museum, Fishbourne Roman Palace, Marwell Zoo. Or simply enjoy the Hampshire countryside with its typical english villages and country pubs.
