Local activities in and around Nerja, Costa del Sol - Malaga
Great for walking (there are a number of designated walks in the area) or cycling holiday or just simple beach relaxation. This is the ideal spot for a winter sun break as the winters are very mild.
The nightlife is good if you like great restaurants that cater for all culinary tastes. Ayo's restaurant on Burriana beach serves arguably the best paella in Spain!! The Moorish mountainside village of Frigiliana is a short drive, by car or local bus as is a visit to the nearby Caves of Nerja at Maro.
A trip to the shopping centre in Velez Malaga is also not to be missed, with an excellent golf course nearby. Sierra Nevada ski resort is approx one and a half hours drive through the beautiful mountains of the Sierra Nevada. Granada and the Alhambra Palace are also within easy reach and ideal places to visit.
From Malaga take the E15/N340 signposted Motril. Nerja is signposted on this road approximately 55km from Malaga.
