This house is typical of the 15th century. It is placed in one of the most suggestive corners in Ostuni historic centre. The building, partly made out an old tank once used to collect water, still has the original stone floor (which unfortunately does not longer exist in almost all the other houses) and an old chimney now equipped as a kitchenette.
It is a small, cosy, well lit space, equipped with every modern comfort. From the door you can enjoy a view of the sea and the olive trees valley. This holiday home is perfect for a couple who'd love to spend their holiday in a traditional place.
Here you can lose yourself in the enchanting historic centre where the dazzlingly white houses stand out on the amazingly beautiful blue sky.
The house comprises of a small, well equipped kitchenette, a dining area and living room with a very comfortable double sofa bed. Every modern comfort has been included to enjoy your holiday (Sat TV, DVD player, HiFi and refrigerator).

Ostuni is a beautiful centre called “white town” because of the lime used for the typical, Mediterranean houses standing out against a sky of rare beauty. The town is placed over one of the five hills (300 metres above sea level) surrounding Valle D’Itria and spreading until the Murgia area. The town has an air of tranquillity thanks to the kindness of the inhabitants who make this place really hospitable.
The historical origins of Ostuni date back to the Messapi who founded the town over one of the highest hills in order to rescue it from enemy attacks. Walking through the small streets of the peculiarly tangled historical centre, you are captured by the perfume and colours of the flowers decorating the walls and the window sills of the typical houses.
Thanks to its strategic and central position connecting to the most important places of the region, it is easy to reach Alberobello and the “trulli”, unique in the world which have been recognised part of UNESCO heritage; Castellana and the spectacular alabaster grottoes, the most beautiful in Europe; Cisternino, Martina Franca and other towns of the Mediterranean area where you can spend beautiful days tasting the typical dishes of the delicious local cooking.
