This lakeside apartment is the perfect way to relax and enjoy Lake Como. Enjoy an alfresco meal on the balcony whist you gaze at the breathtaking view or relax on the plush leather sofas whilst enjoying a glass of prosecco!
The beauty about the accomodation is it's accessibility to the lake. A secluded shingle beach can be found just 2 minutes away whilst the local water ferry stop is only a short walk from the apartment which means car hire is not necessary. Further more the only golden sand man made beach is just 10 minutes walk from the apartment where waiters serve you your favourite cocktail as you relax beneath miniture tented gazebos. This really is lakeside living par excellence! Visit romantic Villa Balbinello as featured in the recent James Bond movie with its magical views and fairtyale setting by boat or by foot. Or alternatively access any of the major villages by boat, bus or car around the lake to engage in a little history, shopping, people watching or dolcevita.

The apartment is situated in the lakeside village of Lenno which enjoys a sunny position on the west coast of the lake. The view is the reason people choose this apartment but returning customers speak of the superb position the apartment enjoys. The apartment has been lovingly furnished with all mod cons from flat screen tv to hand painted canvass paintings for that modern boutique apartment feel.

As well as the secure off road parking the apartment also benefits from it's own lift for and shutters for extra security.
Just a short walk to the village, some of our favourite restaurants serving local italian delicacies and regional dishes can be found right on the side of the lake, perfect for admiring the views!
Lenno is popular because it's lake front position means it is one of the only villages in the area set back from the road for you to enjoy lakeside strolls!
The water ferry near by will take you to Bellagio, a delightful lakeside villageor to Como town, the quintessential Italian town with it's gothic churches, pretty piazzas and cafe culture, perfect for a spot of people watching.
The grand village of Cernobbio is only a short boat ot bus ride, ideal for a sunday afternoon lakeside stroll. You never know you may bump into some of our famous neighbours like George Clooney or Donatella Versace who have homes near by!
Milan can be found just 1 hour by car (or you can reach the city by bus and train) or visit the Monza grand prix circuit just 40 mins by car

Local activities in and around Lenno, Lombardy
The apartment is ideally situated to reach the village and all parts of the lake without the need of a car as the ferry and bus routes are so close to the apartment!Just 2 minutes walk to the secluded shingle beach in front of the apartment .The famous lido di lenno man made beach (10 mins walk) is the perfect position to enjoy glorious lake views whilst waiters bring you your favourite drink beneath tented marquees as you lay on the beach. This beach, like the restaurants in Italy, is extremely child friendly with games for children (ie volleyball).
It is only 10 minutes walk from here you can catch the waterboat (5 minutes) to Villa Balbianello, probably the most romantic scenery in Lake Como as featured in the recent James Bond 007 film, Casino Royale. The water ferry stops are just 2 and 10 minutes walk from the apartment for access to all parts of the lake inc Bellagio, Como etc.
The village is just a short walk to the local bars and restuarants. We will be happy to recommend our favourite diners, just ask!
The nearest supermarket can also be found here in the village as well as wifi access. The local bank is also just a short walk from your home. Boat hire can be arranged on request. Lift to the apartment means the accommodation is suitable for elderly and infirm guests.
