Brand new purpose built cottage in St Jean le Thomas with wonderful views over rolling Normandy countryside and glimpses of the sea. The cottage has been designed for maximum comfort for our guests and is wheel chair friendly. It is quite independant and stands in its own private garden, a south facing sun trap! There is lots of sky!! There is safe off-road parking. Whilst being 'in the village' it is just on the edge therefore quiet!
St Jean is a seaside village surrounded by wooded cliffs and views of Mont St Michel. It is a magical place! It's between Granville, with it's old town and the walled town of Avranches. The Mont is a short ride away!
The cottage is fully furnished to "familly home" standard and not just a holiday let! It is south facing with large 2 metre sliding double glazed doors leading on to the garden. The kitchen window also faces onto the garden!
It has two bedrooms with double beds and one bedroom with two single beds. The bathroom has a white suite consisting of bath, basin and separate shower, all new. There are two separate toilets. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer.
The kitchen has a full size larder fridge with freezer underneath, (3 drawers), ceramic hob, double UK oven (with grill), dishwasher and modern fitted units. We try to provide all utensils from proper knives to oyster forks! The cottage is open plan, with a seating area next to the kitchen, and a great lounge area. There is a comfortable British style seating area with 3 two -seater sofas. There is, of course, UK television of all the main channels and a DVD. We have a vast collection of DVD's ( many suitable for children). We also have a library of books for the hoiliday read! The house has full central heating.
The garden is new but we are working on it!! There is a large back garden which you get to via the side patio.
The village has three restaurants, post office, boulangerie, butcher's,hairdresser's, village general store and charming beach bars. There are three more restaurants on the cliffs a short walk away, as well as a great fish restaurant in the next village.

Central Heating, Telephone, House Linen, Towels Provided. A telephone is conected to let you keep in touch from home. It allows local calls ( for booking those restaurants!). There is central heating.

Seating for 6. Large dining table with mathching six carver chairs!
Seating area is next to the kitchen so no one gets 'stranded' cooking!!!
Entertainment:
Terrestrial TV, Satellite TV, DVD, Radio, CD System, Board Games. We have a large collection of Children safe DVD's and books.
Outside:
Terrace, Garden, BBQ, Parking, Garden Furniture. The garden is new but lots of flowers and shrubs in tubs for this year obviously .There is all garden furniture; of sun loungers and swing seat!

Children Welcome, Wheelchair Access, Suitable For Elderly, Pets Allowed, Sorry - No Smokers.
The cottage has no stairs and has extra large doors. (85 cms) We can provide cots etc and would be happy to do so! We can arrange your pet's visit to our wonderful vet for its jab!
