With accommodation for up to 6 people and set in a stunning rural location with 360 degree views of the surrounding countryside and mountains, El Rodat is a great choice for any holidaymaker. The finca is stunning, and even has its own seven arch Riu Rau which in the past was used to make raisins from the local grapes, while there are still luscious grapevines growing across the drive. The accommodation consists of a good sized fully equipped kitchen, a large lounge with galleried ceiling and open fire place boasting many original features and full of rustic charm, a large and bright dining area and 3 double bedrooms, one with ensuite shower plus a family shower room.. There is also a utlity room with fridge/freezer and sink unit which leads to the rear of the property.
Externally there is a 10 x 5 meter swimming pool with Roman steps, a covered naya, the Riu Rau, and table and chairs to accommodate 6 people easily as well as the large, beautifully landscaped gardens.

Local activities in and around Calpe, Costa Blanca - Alicante
The nearest village is Jalon which is just a five minute walk away. There are supermarkets, banks, newsagents and an English 'Open All Hours' shop. In addition there are several good and economical restaurants and bars. The other villages of the Jalon Valley, Alcalali, Parcent, Lliber and Orba can all be easily reached within 10 mins drive. They all have interesting characteristics and plenty of restaurants, shops, cafes and bars.
Other places of interest in the area are A 5* paragliding school in Parcent village and paragliding from the mountain (Coll de Rates), only a 10 minute drive from the finca. There is also the Donkey sanctuary in the mountains toward Bernia where one can offer support for the project by indulging in an incredible lunchtime feast with amazing views where all profits go towards the well being of the donkeys. There is also the famous mountain spring and walks on the Serra Bernia, only a 10 minute drive away. Around 50 minutes drive away are the famous theme parks of Benidorm, including Terra Mitica, Terra Natura, and Aqualandia Water Park & Wild Life Park. Historic Guadalest and the famous water pools and waterfalls are just 30 mins drive away. The area around the property is particularly good for walkers/hikers, cycling, bird watching and sight seeing.
There are several Golf Courses in the area most within 20 to 50 mins drive. Benissa 9 hole course 25 mins drive. Denia 18 hole course 25 mins drive. Altea 18 hole course 40 mins drive. Oliva Nova 18 hole course 45 mins drive.
