For real peace and quiet we are again offering our very popular 'no children' weeks on the 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th of June, 4th of July, 29th of August and the 5th of September 2009 from £275 per week.
L'Erable (on the right of the three adjoining gites) is situated in the hamlet of Kerdavid, 1km from the town of Plumeliau which offers most amenities including supermarket, boulangeries - and a beautician (take note ladies!).

L'Erable comprises open plan living/kitchen/dining area with inglenook, woodburner, and dvd/video. Stairs to the first floor where there are 2 bedrooms, (one double, one twin) stair gate, smoke alarm and shower room.
All bed linen is provided and the beds will be made up for your arrival. Babysitting is also available at a reasonable cost.
The gite is surrounded by open fields with a large lawned area behind bordered by trees and mature shrubs and a further play area with swings, basketball net and covered sand pit. There is a private patio with garden furniture and a stone BBQ surrounded by trellis and flowers to ensure privacy while the fenced and heated pool is a short walk across the lawn.

Cooker, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Washing Machine, Iron. Washing machines (free), tumble dryer (coin operated) and feezer can be found in a separate laundry room for the use of all guests and there are clothes airers and ironing boards in all gites.

Real Fire, House Linen. A 'Pack & Go' cleaning service is available.
Dining:
Seating for 4. We also offer a separate dining room (6x12m) with a magnificent high beamed ceiling for family groups. A solid chestnut tressle table seats 16, also coffee machine, dishes and washing up facilities.
Entertainment:
DVD, Board Games, Table Tennis. A games room is available with table tennis, lego, barbie, dressing up clothes.
Outside:
Communal Pool, Terrace, Garden, BBQ, Parking, Garden Furniture. Private patio bordered by trellis, flowers and shrubs to ensure privacy.

We have 2 goats, some chickens and three small well behaved dogs who have their own enclosure. Children are welcome to help feed the animals and dog walking is enjoyed by parents and children alike!
Local activities in and around Plumeliau, Brittany
Kerdavid lies on the edge of the lovely Blavet valley and 5 mins from the pretty village of St Nicolas des Eaux where the Nantes/Brest canal flows by a beautifully kept tow path where visitors can cycle, walk and canoe.
On the outskirts of Plumeliau there is Go-Karting while at Camors (20 minutes away) there is an Adventure Park (a type of army assult course, swinging through trees, climbing ropes etc!).
There is a 9 hole golf course just ten minutes away at Rimaison. The course is beautifully kept and set amongst hills with stunning views over the Blavet valley. Par 35. Length 2825. Facilities include: putting green, covered practice ground, coaching, equipment hire, trolley hire, pro shop, clubhouse and bar. Green fees: weekdays 26 euros, weekends 29 euros.
The chateau town of Pontivy lies 15 mins north and the historic towns of Vannes, Auray and Josselin are all within easy reach.
The white sandy beaches of the Morbihan coast, Carnac, Lamor Plage, Guidel Plage.......lie about 40 mins to the south, the ancient famous 'megaliths' of Carnac being just a few kms. from the beach.
In centre of Plumeliau is a church with a one way system round it. Flower shop on corner, go down that side of church, along the back and take road C8. Straight on for 1km, Kerdavid is on the right.
