The south facing, secluded and well stocked garden of this picturesque 17th century detached thatched cottage overlooks a quiet valley and provides sunny terrace areas with sun loungers, a small lawn as well as shady corners with colour and fragrance during most of the year. The garden is approached via a sheltered sunny verandah with patio table and chairs.
The house is entered through a glazed porch that leads into a stone flagged, beamed entrance hall. A cosy, sunny and spacious sitting room is furnished to a high standard with ample sofas and armchairs, occasional tables, lamps, books, pictures, colour TV, video and feature stone fireplace. The attractive beamed dining room with its period charm and imposing stone fireplace is a perfect setting for meals around a large refectory table.
The fitted kitchen/breakfast room, again with exposed beams and feature walls has a full range of equipment including an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker. The adjoining utility area has a sink, washing machine and tumble dryer and leads into a shower room with WC.
Two staircases lead to 4 attractive and comfortable bedrooms (2 double, 2 twin). A new bathroom has bath, shower, WC and heated towel rail. The house has electric storage and panel heaters throughout and fitted carpets.
