The Barn was originally a stable block and forms the top of the old farmyard. It is over 70' long and in most of it we have kept the high vaulted beamed ceiling, which gives it an extremely light and spacious feel. With a large garden and open outlook it is well suited to large families or groups.

The central living area is 40' long with a high vaulted ceiling making it light and very spacious. At one end is a fitted hand built kitchen with breakfast bar and an excellent range of modern equipment. There is a large dining table to seat 8 and plenty of comfortable seating around a huge woodstove.
Sleeping accommodation is arranged in three bedrooms plus the 'sleeping gallery'. The bedrooms are prettily furnished with comfortable beds and bits and pieces of attractive furniture. One contains a double bed, one has twin beds which can be used as double if required, and the third has a set of bunks. The gallery has twin beds and is accessed by a fixed ladder from the main area.
There is a good sized bathroom with airing cupboard, bath, power shower, washbasin and WC heated towelrail. Hot water is by economy 7 immersion heater. As well as the woodstove, there is full oil fired central heating enabling the cottage to be comfortable at any time.

Local Attractions
The small towns of Falmouth and Helston are about a quarter of an hour away, and Truro, the cathedral city of Cornwall is about 12 miles. The village of Constantine, about 10 minutes walk from the farm, has excellent small shops including butcher, 2 general stores, antique shops, and pub.
In addition, The Trengilly Wartha Inn, a renowned pub and restaurant featured in both the good food guide and the good pub guide is just down the hill from the farm - in easy strolling distance
Within a short distance are wonderful beaches, walks, coastline and famous gardens as well as the lovely Helford River which surrounds the farm.
A bit further afield are The Tate Gallery at St Ives, The Maritime Museum in Falmouth, The Eden project and the many attractions which Cornwall now has to offer.
However, ours is the secluded and relatively uncrowded area of Cornwall, and Goongillings, tucked down a long narrow lane, provides complete privacy and tranquillity in a beautiful riverside location, with plenty of wildlife and an unbeatable landscape, all on your doorstep.
