This charming villa is on the edge of the pretty village of Portiragnes in ' Les Moulins de la Mer', a small private residence located in the pedestrianised area. The villa was completed in March 04. It has two bedrooms upstairs, both with twin beds. There is a double sofa bed downstairs, which means it can sleep 4 - 6 comfortably.
There is a spacious downstairs living area with lounge, kitchenette and separate toilet and separate shower room. Lunch with your family in the sun on the large tiled terraces, or sun bathe and relax next to the communal pool. The villa has an attractive garden with uninterrupted views overlooking the vineyards - there are no properties in front of the villa.
The lounge has a two and half seater/sofa bed. 2 easy chairs. Satellite T.V.DVD.CD and radio. A selection of DVDs, CDs and books, including a good selection of helpful brochures on places in the area to visit. The kitchenette is equipped with a dual function microwave/grill/toaster. Four ring electric hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine,dishwasher, electric kettle and coffee maker. All the utensils, crockery and cutlery are supplied for six people. The dining table has four chairs and when extended will fit six persons Outside there is a large garden table with six chairs, umbrella and barbeque.

General:
Maid Service, House Linen, Towels Provided. This is a well equipped villa, and you need only to bring your beach towels. There is also a small amount of beach toys.
Dining:
Seating for 4. The dining area has a pine table, which extends to take six, sideboard, This is a very pleasant spot but as the weather is so nice most of the eating is done outside. Everything provided.
Entertainment:
Satellite TV, DVD, Radio, CD System, Board Games. Portiragnes Plage holds the blue flag - 'pavillon bleu' -for being one of the best beaches in Europe. It has a fine sandy beach and near by there are shops and restaurants
Outside:
Communal Pool, Terrace, Garden, BBQ, Parking, Garden Furniture. The villa has a south facing garden, gated and safe for the children. It is tiled with lovely views and quiet. There is a communal pool. Pool open May/September.

The villa is on a very attractive small residential site with pleasant garden and surroundings. The whole area is beautiful and no risk of being bored with the countryside, beaches and Canal du Midi
Local activities in and around Portiragnes, Languedoc-Roussillon
Other good beaches can be found at Valras, Vias and Cap d'Agde all with watersports. There is a horse-riding school close by. At Vias there is a large funfair open during July and August. The beautiful tree lined Canal du Midi is only a short walk/cycle away. During the season a boat can be hired at a reasonable cost. The area has several hypermakets 10 minutes drive away, Champion, HyperU and Geant etc. The village has two restaurants, a Pizzeria, 2 butchers, two bakers, chemist, Tabac/newsagent, hair salon, florist, post office, two bars and a small well stocked supermarket. There is a cash machine near the tourist office in the village. Nearest bank 10minutes drive.
Portiragnes is only 35 miles from Montpellier airport (Ryanair and B.A) and just off exit 35 of the A9 Autoroute (Languedocien). The area is well served with low cost airlines to Avignon, Carcasssone, Perpignan, Nimes, Toulouse, Rodez and Girona.
Ryan air commence flights three days a week from Bristol in March 08. In July 08 Ryanair started flying to Bezier Cap d'Agde. This airport is less than 10minutes drive from Villa Oleander. The new Viaduct du Millau is open which makes the A75 a very attractive route for those driving to the south.
A taxi can be arranged to collect those not driving from the airport. For those wishing to hire a car for their stay booking with the flight seems to be the best way.
I will forward directions once a firm booking has been made. The village of Portiragnes is not always on the map. A turning off the N112 between Cers and Agde.

Rental Notes: All linen is supplied. Booking from Saturday at 16.00 to Saturday l0.00 during the high season. Other days by arrangement. The prices include water and electricity. You will arrive to a nice clean villa, please take all your rubbish to the bins before you leave.
Minimum rental l week. £100 deposit required at time of booking, balance due 8 weeks before arrival date. A security deposit of £100 is required, which is refunded in full providing the property is left clean and there are no breakages. Arrival times on Saturdays are 4pm and 10.am on departure days. Other days and times by prior arrangement. Electricity, water, linen and towels included in the price. No beach towels.
