Horning is in the heart of Broadland, on the river Bure, and this cottage is in the centre of the village, close to all amenities, but set back from the road. The cottage has been recently refurbished and is fully equipped for up to six people. Relax and watch the world go by, do some fishing and boating, or explore the North Norfolk coast with its beaches and wildlife. We have negotiated preferential rates with one of the local boat hire yards. Shops, pubs and restaurants all within a 5 minute walk. Parking for 2 cars right outside the door, no walking/steps needed to access the cottage.

Ground Floor - Lounge/dining room with picture windows looking out onto the riverside garden.TV/ Video / CD. Modern galley-style fitted kitchen with granite worktops, large range-type gas cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, dryer. One double bedroom with TV. Bathroom with bath, shower over bath, basin and WC. French windows lead to small waterside garden with furniture. Sit and fish, or just chill out and watch the boats and river.
First Floor: One double bedroom with washbasin, en-suite WC and TV. One twin room with washbasin and TV. All bedrooms have hanging space and shelving.
Gas central heating included: Bed linen included, please bring your own towels.

With a bedroom and bathroom downstairs, and parking right outside, this is a very suitable cottage for the elderly.
Local activities in and around Horning, East of England
In the village there are several pub and restaurants offering a wide range of menus and prices. Boat hire is available , and there is a leisure centre with small swimming pool, jacuzzi and fitness centre.
Within 5 minutes walk of the cottage there is a newsagents, butchers, greengrocers, post office and delicatessen. Good shopping in Wroxham, and excellent shopping centres in Norwich, which also has all the usual facilities you would expect in such a fine city.
There are many stately homes, gardens and wildlife centres to visit. The North Norfolk coast is about 30 minutes drive away with the seaside towns of Sheringham and Cromer, and the wild coastline around Blakeney with its seal watching.
There are good sandy beaches about 15 minutes drive. For the children there are many theme parks in the area, and Great Yarmouth is famous for its funfair and Sea Life Centre. For the more active holidaymaker, there is cycle and canoe hire available nearby.
