Beautiful historic stone house in a stunning tranquil setting, metres from the river Célé. Within easy reach of regional centres of Figeac, Cahors, Gramat, Brive and Toulouse and all rail and transport links.
This beautiful 18th century stone house typical of the Lot region sits on a tranquil elevated site within few yards of the riverbank in the beautiful vallee du célé. Situated in an excellent location for all transport links (autoroute A20 twenty mins) with Rodez airport (Ryanair) 50 mins. The medieval market town of Figeac is 11km's distant with the historic department capital city of Cahors less than an hours drive. Alternatively Toulouse with its international airport is under 2hours drive.
Accomodation is for 2-6 people. Two en-suite bedrooms,one with a double bed and shower room and one family room with double bed and a single bed and the bathroom.Extra single bed can be provided. There is an arched stone kitchen with fridge freezer,gas cooker and oven etc, Large L shaped open plan sitting dining room with large Cantou (open) fire place, . There is a large west facing terrace for relaxation and eating alfresco and ample car parking.
The house is ideally situated for the following activities: Fishing, Horse Riding, Canoeing, Kayaking, Walking, Swimming, Lakes, Tennis. There is a good restaurant within walking distance and many more with just a few minutes drive.
