Jambeau lies in an elevated position in 38 acres of farmland, woods and fields, with magnificent views across rolling countryside. It consists of a well renovated little cottage for two that is part of the main barn and an imposing traditional Quercy stone house that can sleep 10. It is possible to rent the two properties separately out of peak season, please contact us for details. Laroque Timbaut (4kms) has a range of local shops and the medieval bastide village of Beauville is just 3kms. Nearest main town –Agen 20 minutes.

Accommodation: Jambeau. Majestic entrance hall/sitting room with tall beamed ceilings, chateau-style fireplace and stone walls. Huge well-fitted kitchen and dining room, with seating for twelve and two sets of French doors to the front terrace. Separate sitting room and dining room with wood burning stove. Double bedroom with en-suite shower room with w.c. and basin. that is also accessed from the small lobby onto the terrace. The upper floor has three spacious bedrooms that have sloped ceilings and large velux windows. There are two double bedrooms (both of which can accommodate an extra bed) and a third bedroom that has a double bed and two singles. The bathroom has a bath, separate shower, double basin and w.c.
To the front of the house is a long dining terrace adjacent to the pool, where guests can relax and enjoy long lazy summer evenings while enjoying the sunsets.
Accommodation: Grange de Jambeau. The front terrace opens into the well fitted kitchen/dining room, that has a double electric oven, fridge and gas hob. The light sunny sitting room opens onto the rear dining terrace that has superb views. The double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with bath, separate shower, basin and w.c.

The principal cities are Toulouse and Bordeaux. Between these two are major towns including: Agen: The County town of the Lot-et-Garonne which changed hands 11 times during the hundred years war and is well known for its plums (pruneaux). On the banks of the Garonne river it has a beautiful museum housed in four Renaissance houses. Villeneuve-sur-Lot: A powerful bastide on the banks of the Lot river. Founded in 1264 it has preserved a large quantity of small streets and half-timbered buildings. Close by is a superb 18 hole golf course. Beauville: Small bastide village complete with arcades, gothic church with bell tower and panoramic views. There are local shops, leisure lake and a good value restaurant.
Walibi Aquitaine, located just a few kilometres away from Agen, Walibi Aquitaine nestles in over 30 hecatres of lush greenery, and is watched over by a genuine 18th Century castle. A world filled with pleasure, with its numerous rides, spectacular shows and special events that succeed each other at a relentless pace, where everyone will spend an unforgettable day out where strong emotions, thrills, laughter and enjoyment all intermingle! Five ropes courses in the trees, starting at the green and blue courses for small children, and progressing in difficulty through white, red and black courses. Harnesses and instruction are included. If you are not interested in climbing, there is also mini-golf to enjoy, a small farm and the snail museum. Take a picnic and make a day of it. Situated at Lacapelle-Biron on the D420, north-west of Fumel. Open every day 0900 to 2000 during July and August, and at weekends at other times.
Rental Notes: Only Saturday to Saturday bookings are accepted during PEAK and HIGH seasons. Customers must ensure that they do not arrive at the property until after 4pm on the day of arrival and they must depart before 10am on the day of departure.
