Our comfortable family holiday self catering apartments in Obertraun are less than 1 minutes walk from the shore of Lake Hallstatt in the heart of the Austrian Lake District just 70 minutes drive form Salzburg.
We are surrounded by breathtaking scenery and we are perfectly situated for summer or winter holidays by yourself or with family and friends. In summer there are a huge range of activities to keep everyone occupied on our doorstep from swimming, fishing, canoeing, scuba diving, mountain biking, walking, hiking, climbing, paragliding, golf, white water rafting and caving. In the winter months there is fantastic skiing and boarding on the Krippenstein and the Dachstein West Ski region.
Our apartments are spacious, very comfortable and newly renovated.
The two bedroom apartments can sleep 7 people (2 of our larger apartments can sleep 8) in comfort. Each apartment has one or two balconies, a well equipped kitchen, living area with dining table, sofa and Sat TV/DVD player. Each bedroom has its own en-suite shower room. All towels and linen are supplied.
The apartments area great base to start from to explore all the Salzkammergut has to offer.

2 Double Bedrooms. The apartment can sleep up to 7 people in comfort. There is a single sofa bed in one of the bedrooms and a double sofa bed int the lounge.

Hob, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer. Apartments do not have a washing machine. The Hotel machines can be used for a small fee.

Central Heating, House Linen, Towels Provided. Wireless internet is avilable. We do have computers in the bar for guests' use.

Terrestrial TV, Satellite TV, DVD, Board Games. We have a large selection of DVD's and videos available to watch

Terrace, Parking, Balcony. We are less than 25 metres form the lakeside beach and park.

All of our apartments are non smoking as is our bar.

Local activities in and around Obertraun, Upper Austria / Oberosterreich
In the local area you can swim, horse ride, play tennis, walk, climb, canoe, paraglide, fish or just relax.
There are fantastic places to visit locally - the UNESCO World Heritage site of Hallstatt with its famous 4,500 year old salt mine, the Dachstein Caves, Eishole, Mammuthole and the Koppenbrullehole. Further afield there is the summer toboggan run, Bad Ischl and Salzburg to name a few. You will never be stuck for something to do!

Rental Notes: Price is for the apartment - sleeping up to 7 people. We do not make a charge for additional occupancy. Single night supplement 10€. We are flexible on rental period and arrival /departure days. English owners live on site. All apartments and the bar are non smoking. Price includes all linen, towels and cleaning charge. Tourist tax is charged locally per night 1.30 Euros per adult and .43 cents per child.
