Burnside is situated in the beautiful thatched village of Otterton.The nearest of many fabulous beaches is half a mile away.There is a very large well equipped garden which is ideal for children and has lovely views of the surrounding countryside. The cottage has been modernised and redecorated and has a bright colourful feel. Stunning river and coastal walks from the cottage.

The country style kitchen/dinning room has a dishwasher, washing machine and patio doors lead onto the garden. The sitting room has an open fire and looks out onto the stream that runs through the center of the village. There is a separate toilet downstairs, and upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, 1 twin, 1 double and 1 single and a bathroom with bath and shower.
Burnside has a wonderful garden, backing onto the fields of Anchoring Hill.There is a mediterranean style patio with table and chairs, this leads onto the cottage garden area and next to this is a gravel terrace. Beyond this is a large grassy childrens' play area with swings, slide, and a hammock.There are lovely views from here to the village and surrounding hills; it is a lovely place to sit and watch the buzzards overhead or the cows come down to the fence. There is off road parking at the front of the cottage. Cot and high chair available.
Otterton is ideally located for a wonderful holiday in East Devon. There is the quiet, unspoilt world heritage coast to explore. Ladram Bay is half a mile away, surrounded by towering red cliffs. It has a sand/pebble beach, rock pools and boats for hire. There are other super beaches to explore within 5 miles; Exmouth has 2 miles of sandy beaches with all beach and holiday facilities.There are the quieter beaches of Budleigh Salterton and Sidmouth within 3 miles and some wonderful walks to more secluded beaches. There is a great choice of walks from the cottage; riverside, coastal or countryside stunning scenery awaits.
Otterton is a friendly village on the banks of the River Otter. The ancient mill has been restored to a highly acclaimed craft gallery, coffee shop and bakery selling award winning organic bread and cakes.The welcoming pub is only two minutes walk and serves good food.

East Devon is a beautiful unspoilt stretch of coast and it also benefits from a wealth of tourist activities. There is Bicton Park and gardens only a mile away with lovely indoor and outdoor childrens play areas, train and beautifully landscaped gardens.
Crealy Adventure Park (roller coaster, log flume and huge indoor play areas), Pecorama (mini steam trains, playground and gardens) The World of Country Life ( museum, animals and playgrounds) and Seaton Tramway are just a few places providing fun in fine or not so fine weather.
There are the beautiful houses and gardens of Killerton,A La Ronde and Escot to explore. Locally there is fishing on the River Otter or sea fishing. Most sea and sporting activities are available close by. There are lots of beautiful walks which can be done from the house, both river and coastal to Budleigh or sidmouth. Further afield Dartmoor is 3/4 of an hour away and there is the rest of Devon to explore, the M5 is 15 minutes away.
