Sand Cottage is set in idyllic landscaped gardens on Lurganconary's 100 acre organic farm at the foot of the majestic Mourne Mountains and within walking distance of Cranfield beach. This charming cottage has the perfect blend of luxury and comfort, with underfloor heating powered by geo thermal heating systems.

Sand Cottage has been elegantly restored to offer guests a unique blend of luxury and comfort, providing modern facilities in peaceful rural surroundings. Under floor heating powered by a Geo Thermal heating system has been installed, and for those who enjoy the comfort and atmosphere of a real fire there is a wood burning Dovre Stove in the living room.
This charming cottage has been restored to the highest standard to include; a spacious modern living room equipped with satellite TV, DVD and music system, two beautifully decorated bedrooms with ensuite facilities, and a fully equipped modern kitchen/dining area with separate laundry room.
When staying at the cottage, guests receive complimentary toiletries and a sample of our organic farm produce on arrival. On site, there is a children's playground. Fishing is available on White Water River, plus guests can avail of the complimentary bicycles and outdoor gear provided.
Visitors can also take advantage of the many enchanting nature trails and picnic areas scattered throughout the farm's estate. During those sunny days, take advantage of the stunning countryside views by relaxing on the garden furniture on the patio and on make use of the barbeque facilities available.
The cottage is within walking distance of the well-known Cranfield beach and the historical Norman village of Greencastle. Kilkeel a charming old harbour town which is home to Northern Ireland's largest fishing fleet is a 5 minute drive from the farm. Should you wish to venture further nearby Rostrevor village and the coastal town of Warrenpoint are a short drive away, offering a selection of restaurants and bars with nightly entertainment.

During your stay on the farm fishing is available on the White Water River, and you can take one of the many nature trails. In the area hiking, horse riding, sailing and golf can be enjoyed. Fresh organic fruit and vegetables are available for guests to purchase from the farm, depending on the season and availability.
On site there is a children's playground, plus complimentary use of bicycles and outdoor wear. Guests can avail of the many nature trails and picnic areas scattered throughout the farms's estate. Fishing is also available on White water river which runs through the farm
Within 15 minutes of the farm you can explore the heart of the Majestic Mournes and enjoy the many attractions on offer including the Silent Valley Reservoir, the Spelga Dam or simply experience one of the varied hiking trails.
There are other activities available in the local area, which include water sports, golf, cycling, horse riding and fishing.
Commencing on the third Saturday in June and ending on the second Friday of September (inclusive) Easter Week - the week commencing on Easter Saturday Christmas and New Year - 2 week period commencing 23rd December.
