A privately owned self-catered luxury chalet in the French alpine resort of Morzine, in the heart of the fabulous Portes du Soleil.
Situated on the edge of an alpine pasture with magnificent mountain views, and just 1km by road from the village centre, the chalet is an excellent base for alpine ski and summer holidays and a place to relax and unwind at any time of the year.
Built in 2003, Chalet ‘Les Sapins’ is 4 Star rated by the Morzine Office of Tourism and offers comfortably-furnished accommodation for up to 12 guests. The chalet has a sauna and undercover parking for 2 vehicles and is ski-in-ski-out in winter - snow permitting.
Chalet les Sapins is well-appointed and comfortably furnished with stunning views of the mountains and village.
In winter, the chalet‘s ideal position at the edge of the village offers ski–in and ski-out to and from the chalet, snow permitting, and is 800m from the Pléney télécabine and chair lifts in the village centre.
In summer, a footpath just above the chalet leads to the high pastures and mountain trails for walking and mountain biking.

Cooker, Hob, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Iron. The kitchen is well-equipped and has plenty of cupboard space for storage. Large-size casseroles and saucepans together with plenty of crockery, glasses and cutlery.

Real Fire, Central Heating, House Linen, Towels Provided, Internet Access. Comfortable, south-facing living room with French doors to a balcony and a terrace, outside seating and dining table. Further sitting room on the mezzanine.
Dining:
Seating for 10. There is seating for a maximum of 12 guests and a high chair.

Terrestrial TV, DVD, Radio, CD System, Board Games. There is small selection of DVDs but guests are welcome to bring their own movies and music. Also a selection of paperback books and magazines.

Terrace, Garden, Parking, Balcony, Garden Furniture. There is under-cover parking for two vehicles, a south-facing terrace with mountain views, and a sloping garden for taboganning in winter.

The chalet is built on three floors and has three flights of stairs. The top floor has a child gate. The chalet is a no smoking area. Pets will be considered.
Local activities in and around Morzine, Rhone Alps
Morzine is a picturesque Savoyard village retaining its traditional chalet-style architecture and local customs. Nestling in a valley in the heart of the Portes du Soleil area, between Lake Geneva to the north and Mont Blanc to the south, it is the centre for a wealth of year-round alpine pursuits and entertainment and, as a family resort, offers a wide choice of activities and interests. There is a good variety of shops and boutiques, bars, restaurants and nightclubs, and a weekly market. Nearby, there is a wide choice of attractive towns and places of interest.
In winter, it boasts a variety of activities for both skiers and non-skiers alike with 650km of pistes for all levels of skier, and dedicated snowboard parks. Excellent English speaking ski schools and creche facilities.
In summer, there is a broad choice of leisure pursuits including 6 golf courses within an hour's drive; sailing , water skiing and wake boarding on Lake Geneva; a vast area for walking, mountain biking and cycling; swimming in the olympic-sized pool, in two local lakes and a water park at Evian; tennis; whitewater rafting, canyoning and parapenting; beautiful scenery offering unending opportunities for painting, drawing and photography.
The chalet is situated on the road to the Col de Joux Plane to the south of Morzine and full direction details will be provided with the rental.
