This is a lovely, comfortable house, set in a peaceful residential area, located away from the large tourist centre, in a natural environment, with a front and back garden near pine trees, in the clean air. This is an ideal holiday location for those who admire nature, for walkers, golf lovers (3 km from the nearest golf course), swimmers (nearest beach 3 km away), 4 km from the local airport, only 3 km from the motorway and all that Madeira has to offer.
The house offers spacious accommodation and is furnished to a contemporary standard. The 1st floor has 3 fully furnished bedrooms and it accommodates 6 people. There are 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and a balcony. A cot and a highchair can be provided on request. The ground floor has a spacious open plan living area and adjoining dining area. Next to the fully equipped kitchen, we have a pleasant summer room with wickerwork furniture, ideal for relaxation. There is also an utility room and a guest WC.

The house is 7 minutes away from the charming seafront town of Santa Cruz with its traditional church, built during the “Manuelino” period and Town Hall with its primitive 16th Century construction. The court house built in a colonial style is one of the town’s landmarks. Near the sea front, there is the covered fish, meat and vegetable market, supermarket, restaurants, bars, post office, banks and cash machines, medical centre and promenade.
A pleasant walk along the promenade leads to the only Water Park of the island. To the North, we have the well known Santo da Serra Golf course and 15 Minutes to the west, there is Camacha, worldwide known for its wickerwork. The genuine folklore singing, dancing and music can also be seen here. Further inland, one can explore the Levadas or irrigation channels which cover the whole island. Funchal, the cosmopolitan capital of Madeira, is approximately 15 minutes from Santa Cruz.

Satellite TV, Video, DVD, Radio, CD System, Board Games. For your entertainment, there are also board games, puzzles and colouring books and pencils for children.

Local activities in and around Santa Cruz, Madeira
This is an ideal holiday location for those who admire nature, for walkers and for golf lovers, as it is 3 km (6min) away from the outstanding 27-hole Santo da Serra golf course, part of the PGA European Tour. The second golf course Palheiro Golf is within 15 minutes. The house is only 5 minutes away from the local airport.
In Santa Cruz, there is also a Wi-Fi zone at the seafront, in front of the Town Hall and at the airport. Today, Madeira is well served with motorways that will take you quickly anywhere on the island. However, to see the landscape and be in contact with the locals, trips along the traditional roads will be more appealing. Please contact me for further questions. Thank you.

Rental Notes: The rental rate for all seasons is € 500 per week for the property. Long term renters are welcome. For all long term renters, a maid will come once a week to do the household cleaning. Additional nights are subject to availability on request, and the change over day is flexible.
A 30% deposit must be paid to secure the booking and is non refundable after 5 weeks prior to arrival. The balance is paid in Cash on arrival. In addition, we charge a refundable deposit of €150 to cover possible damage, also paid on arrival. As soon as clearance has been given,on the day of your departure, the deposit will be returned. Booking Payment should be made in Euros by bank transfer.
