It shares a lovely swimming pool with 2 other smaller gites at this location. The owners of the property live on site and are convivial, helpful and go the extra mile to make you feel at home.
Gite Martinet is part of a small holiday complex of 3 gites in the village of Sainte Valiere, within a short drive of Narbonne and the Mediterranean beaches. It's ideal for a family holiday being very safe for children, or for a group of friends travelling together. The accommodation allows you to spend relaxing days in the garden and around the pool, or alternatively exploring this lovely region by car or bicycle.

The house has 3 floors, with 3 spacious double bedrooms each of which has quality twin beds which can be joined together to make large double beds. The master bedroom has an en-suite showr room and there is a further shower room with washbasin and WC. On the ground floor there is a sapcious open plan area containing a well-equipped kitchen, dining and sitting area with french doors that open out onto the terrace.

Local activities in and around Narbonne, Languedoc-Roussillon
The centre of Ste Valiere is just a 5 minute stroll; the village is quiet & serene and nestles amongst the Minervois vineyards. In fact there's a wine producer just across the street, who can supply the local wine for your dinner or barbeque. There is a restaurant in the village and an abundance of restaurants within 5-15 minutes drive.
There's a tennis court in the village - but remember to bring your racquets and balls! Cycles can be hired locally and delivered to your door. Walking or cycling is just great in the shade of the plane trees alonside the Canal du Midi.
There are lots of attractions in the area - Carcassonne, Narbonne, the Canal du Midi, the beach resorts of Gruissan and Narbonne-Plage, the vineyards of the Minervois and Corbieres, the African Nature Reserve at Sigean and many more.
The markets of the area are colourful and full of local seasonal produce. One of the best is on a Tuesday morning at Olonzac.
The local mobile boulangerie visits the village every morning and the nearest supermarket is 7kms away.
Sainte Valiere lies just south of the D5 which runs between Beziers and Carcassonne. Further details will be sent to you following your reservation.
