The Old Post House is located in the lovely conservation village of Kilconquhar, 11 miles from St. Andrews. The house is full of character and charm with many original features. Situated in the heart of the East Neuk it makes an ideal base for a family holiday.
Bed & breakfast is also available at The Old Post House, and the rate for this is £30 per person, per night.
The accomodation is open-plan, has a cloakroom with wc and wash hand basin. Country-style, well equipped kitchen with french doors leading out to garden. Dining area with seating for six. Sitting room with living flame fire, TV, DVD and CD system. Sunny conservatory with views onto garden and hills beyond. The house has two twin bedded rooms, one which can be made up into a kingsize.
It has an attractive and well maintained garden bordered by a rose trellis, large lawn and perfectly safe for children.

1 Double Bedroom, 1 Twin Bedroom. There are two bedrooms, which can be made up either as twins or a kingsize . The smaller of the two bedrooms has a wash hand basin.

White tiled bathroom with shower over bath and large airing cupboard. There is a seperate cloakroom on the ground floor with WC and wash hand basin.
Kitchen:
Cooker, Hob, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Iron. The kitchen is well equipped to a high standard. It has french doors leading out to the sheltered garden. It has exposed beams and tiled floor and has a very country feel.

The dining area is open plan and has a lovely old oak table which seats 6.

The East Neuk still retains its charm, with its quaint old fishing villages, cobbled streets, and seaside restauants and is an increasingly popular holiday destination.
There is a water sports centre, at Elie harbour offering the latest sailing, windsurfing, and canoeing equippment and tuition,and there is an award wining beach perfect for all the family.
Tennis courts , putting and golf, are all at Elie with good restaurants and pubs within the area. Our local pub, The Kinneuchar Inn is within walking distance of the cottage and is well worth a visit.
The cottage is very well situated for both the Open Golf Championship and the Dunhill which is played every year over three courses, Kingsbarns, St. Andrews and Carnoustie. At present we do have availability for this event. Please contact the owner for details.

Rental Notes: Change over days are nomally Saturdays however where possible we will try to accomodate you.
The cottage is available for the Dunhill golf 2008. Please contact owner for rental rates.
Both Christmas and New Year weeks will be charged at a rate of £600 per week.
Pets are welcome ( max 1) however there will be an additional charge £12 per week. No Smoking in the property
All linen and towels are provided and included in the rental. Entry to the property is from 3pm onwards and guests are asked to vacate by 11am on day of departure.
There is a private parking area to the rear of the property and access to the play park without crossing any roads. The keys can be collected at Bywater Cottage, 12 Main Street, Kilconquhar (owners Property).
