This fully renovated and newly furnished 19th century cottage is nestled within the medieval walls of picturesque Conway, a World Heritage Site. It features fantastic views of the Castle and River from a spacious, sunny, roof terrace. An ideal all-year holiday base for exploring the magnificent mountains and beaches of North Wales.
Located in a quite side street against the 13th century town walls, Castleview Cottage is ideally positioned, with easy access to all amenities and attractions of medieval Conwy.
This former Fisherman's Cottage features a spacious lounge/diner with open fire, and separate breakfast kitchen. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms (double and adult bunk bedroom) and a shower room with large shower, basin and wc.
All the town's facilities are within a two minute walk of the cottage including interesting shops, tearooms, restaurants, the harbour and historic buildings.
The ancient town of Conwy, on the edge the Snowdonia National Park, is an ideal base to explore the region's beaches, mountains, gardens and other attractions. A huge range of outdoor pursuits are available, including walking, climbing, bird-watching, and boating. An inter-city rail station (links London Euston) is only a few minutes walk away. National and Local bus service within 50 yards of property.

Some charming features of this 200 year old property include low doorways and steep stairs. The cottage is located on a side road, which is quite steep, with parking to one side (unreserved).
Local activities in and around Conwy, North Wales
Conway is a good location for non-drivers, with excellent public transport facilities. There is a regular bus service to Llandudno and other nearby resorts. Conwy Castle, built by Edward 1 in 1289, the National Trust's Aberconwy House and the Elizabethan Plas Mawr town house are all a short stroll away.
Nearby Activities: walking, cycling, golf, boat trips, sea fishing, climbing, horse riding, bird watching, dry ski slope, shopping. A leisure centre and multiplex cinema is approximately 5 mins drive away.
Bodlondeb park, bowling green, playground and tennis courts (free) located within 100 yards of the cottage. Further afield, the Victorian seaside town of Llandudno (10 min drive) offers a magnificant promenade and beaches, pier, donkey rides, dry ski slope, copper mines and a historic tramway to the Great Orme.
